أعلن وزير الإعلام السوري حمزة المصطفى، اليوم (الأحد)، بأن إعلاناً مهماً سيصدر بعد الساعة السادسة، ويتعلق بالمشاورات الجارية بشأن اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار والاندماج الكامل لقوات سورية الديمقراطية «قسد» ضمن مؤسسات الدولة السورية.
وقال في تصريح لوكالة الأنباء السورية «سانا»: «نترقب إعلاناً مهماً بعد الساعة السادسة، يتعلق بالمشاورات الجارية بشأن اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار والاندماج الكامل لقسد ضمن مؤسسات الدولة السورية».
وسيطر الجيش السوري، الأحد، على بلدة الطبقة الاستراتيجية في محافظة الرقة، شرقي سورية، في إطار عملية متواصلة ضد قوات سورية الديمقراطية «قسد»، فيما اجتمع الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع مع المبعوث الأمريكي توم باراك في دمشق.
وجاء هذا التقدم، بعد تصاعد التوتر بين دمشق و«قسد» ما أدى إلى اشتباكات دامية، أتبعها تقدم القوات الحكومية في مناطق سيطرة «قسد»، في شمال البلاد.
وقال المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية السورية نور الدين البابا إن قوات تابعة للوزارة تتولى الآن تأمين الممتلكات في مدينة الطبقة، بعد سيطرة الجيش عليها، عقب خروج مقاتلي «قسد».
وأضاف: نحن الآن في مدينة الطبقة، ونعمل على تأمين عودة الأهالي والنازحين لحياتهم الطبيعية، وهناك حالة من الفرح والسرور بتحرير مدينة الطبقة.
وأظهرت صور تم تداولها، سكاناً يخرجون من منازلهم لاستقبال القوات السورية وهم يلوّحون بالعلم السوري. ويبدو الآن القوات الحكومية تتجه إلى عمق مدينة الرقة، إحدى أهم مدن شمال شرقي سورية، والخاضعة لسيطرة «قسد».
The Syrian Minister of Information, Hamza Mustafa, announced today (Sunday) that an important announcement will be made after six o'clock, related to the ongoing consultations regarding the ceasefire agreement and the full integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the institutions of the Syrian state.
He stated in a statement to the Syrian News Agency (SANA): "We are anticipating an important announcement after six o'clock, related to the ongoing consultations regarding the ceasefire agreement and the full integration of the SDF into the institutions of the Syrian state."
The Syrian army took control of the strategic town of Tabqa in Raqqa province, eastern Syria, on Sunday, as part of a continuous operation against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), while Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara met with U.S. envoy Tom Barak in Damascus.
This advance came after rising tensions between Damascus and the SDF, which led to bloody clashes, followed by the government's forces advancing in areas controlled by the SDF in the north of the country.
Syrian Interior Ministry spokesman Nour al-Din al-Baba stated that forces affiliated with the ministry are now securing properties in the city of Tabqa, after the army took control of it following the withdrawal of SDF fighters.
He added: "We are now in the city of Tabqa, and we are working to ensure the return of residents and displaced persons to their normal lives, and there is a sense of joy and happiness at the liberation of the city of Tabqa."
Photos circulated showed residents coming out of their homes to welcome the Syrian forces while waving the Syrian flag. It now appears that government forces are heading into the heart of Raqqa city, one of the most important cities in northeastern Syria, which is under the control of the SDF.
