أعلنت قوة الأمم المتحدة في جنوب لبنان (اليونيفيل) اليوم إطلاق دبابة إسرائيلية نحو 30 رصاصة من عيار صغير نحو موقع تابع لها بالقرب من كفرشوبا في جنوب لبنان.
وبينت اليونيفيل، في بيان، أن رصاصات أصابت موقع حراسة، واخترقت إحداها أماكن السكن داخل الموقع، دون تسجيل أي إصابات في صفوف الحراس.
كما جددت تذكير إسرائيل بضرورة ضمان سلامة قوات حفظ السلام، ووقف هجماتها ضدها، مشددة على أن هذا العدوان يقوض قرار مجلس الأمن الدولي رقم 1701، والاستقرار الذي تعمل القوات الأممية والأطراف المعنية على ترسيخه.
وكان الاحتلال الإسرائيلي قد استهدف في مرات عدة مواقع تابعة لليونيفيل في جنوب لبنان خلال عدوانه المتواصل على القرى والبلدات الحدودية.
The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) announced today that an Israeli tank fired about thirty rounds of small caliber ammunition towards one of its positions near Kfar Shuba in southern Lebanon.
UNIFIL stated in a statement that the rounds hit a guard post, with one penetrating living quarters within the site, but no injuries were reported among the guards.
It reiterated to Israel the necessity of ensuring the safety of peacekeeping forces and stopping its attacks against them, emphasizing that this aggression undermines United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 and the stability that the UN forces and concerned parties are working to establish.
The Israeli occupation has targeted UNIFIL positions in southern Lebanon on several occasions during its ongoing aggression against border villages and towns.
