بعد يومين من إعلان الرئيس الأمريكي الجماعة في عدد من الدول منظمة إرهابية، اعلن مكتب الرئيس الأرجنتيني خافيير ميلي اليوم (الخميس) أدرج الحكومة الأرجنتينية فروع جماعة الإخوان في مصر والأردن ولبنان ضمن قائمتها للمنظمات «الإرهابية».
وأكدت الحكومة الأرجنتينية أن قرارها استند إلى تقارير رسمية تُثبت وجود أنشطة غير مشروعة ذات طابع عابر للحدود تشمل أعمالاً إرهابية ودعوات علنية للتطرف العنيف، فضلاً عن صلات مع منظمات إرهابية أخرى وتأثيرها المحتمل على الأرجنتين.
وأفادت إلى أن هذا الإجراء يعزز آليات منع الإرهاب والكشف المبكر عنه ومعاقبة مموليه، بحيث لا يتمكن أعضاء الجماعة الإخوان الإرهابية وحلفاؤهم من الإفلات من العقاب.
وكانت رئيسة جهاز الاستخبارات البلجيكية، قد قالت في وقت سابق اليوم، أن بلادها ليست ممراً لنشاطات الإخوان، وذلك بعد أن اعتبرت فرنسا أن بروكسل اخترقت من قبل التنظيم الإرهابي.
وكانت الولايات المتحدة قد صنفت (الثلاثاء) تنظيم الإخوان في كل من مصر والأردن ولبنان منظمة إرهابية، موضحة على لسان وزير الخارجية الأمريكي ماركو روبيو إن هذا التصنيف يعكس الإجراءات الأولى لجهود مستمرة بهدف التصدي لأعمال العنف وعدم الاستقرار التي تقوم بها فروع تنظيم الإخوان أينما وقعت.
وأشار إلى أن الولايات المتحدة ستستخدم كل الأدوات المتاحة لحرمان فروع تنظيم الإخوان من الموارد اللازمة لممارسة الإرهاب أو دعمه.
Two days after the U.S. President declared the group a terrorist organization in several countries, Argentine President Javier Milei's office announced today (Thursday) that the Argentine government has included the branches of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon on its list of "terrorist" organizations.
The Argentine government confirmed that its decision was based on official reports proving the existence of illegal cross-border activities, including terrorist acts and public calls for violent extremism, as well as connections with other terrorist organizations and their potential impact on Argentina.
It stated that this measure enhances mechanisms for preventing terrorism, early detection, and punishing its financiers, ensuring that members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood and their allies cannot escape punishment.
The head of the Belgian intelligence agency stated earlier today that her country is not a transit point for the Brotherhood's activities, following France's assertion that Brussels had been infiltrated by the terrorist organization.
The United States had classified (on Tuesday) the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon as a terrorist organization, with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stating that this classification reflects the initial steps of ongoing efforts aimed at countering the violence and instability caused by the Brotherhood's branches wherever they may be.
He noted that the United States will use all available tools to deprive the Brotherhood's branches of the resources necessary to carry out or support terrorism.
