It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Haya bint Asaf Al-Hussein Al-Asaf. Her funeral prayer will be held tomorrow (Saturday) after the Asr prayer at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, and her body will be laid to rest in Mecca.

The deceased is the mother of: Abdulaziz, Khalid, Saud, Mohammed, and Waleed (Chairman of the Board of Directors of "MBC Group" and "Al Arabiya"), as well as Majid, Al-Jawhara, Moudi, and Maha bint Ibrahim Al-Ibrahim.

Condolences for men and women will be accepted at the Al-Ibrahim Diwaniya in Riyadh starting from the day after tomorrow (Sunday) after the Maghrib prayer until 9 PM.

“Okaz,” which is saddened by the news, extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, praying that Allah grants her His vast mercy and admits her to His spacious gardens. “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.”
