بعد أقل من شهر على استيلائه على السلطة، أعلن الجيش في مدغشقر، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، عن حكومة جديدة معظم وزرائها من المدنيين، وبعض المنتقدين البارزين للرئيس السابق أندريه راجولينا.
أبرز الوزراء
تضم حكومة رئيس الوزراء الجديد هيرينتسالاما راجاوناريفيلو، التي أُعلنت عبر قناة «تي في إم» الوطنية، 25 مدنياً و4 من العسكريين بينهم كريستين رازاناماهاسوا، التي جرّدها حزب راجولينا من منصب رئيسة الجمعية الوطنية (غرفة البرلمان الأدنى)، العام الماضي، التي عُينت وزيرة للخارجية، بينما عُينت فانيريسوا إيرنايفو، وهي معارضة لراجولينا تعيش في الخارج، وزيرة للعدل، فيما اختير أستاذ الاقتصاد هيري رامياريسون وزيراً للمالية.
وعينت الحكومة عدداً من المسؤولين الأمنيين في وزارات القوات المسلحة والأمن العام وتخطيط الأراضي والدرك، ولم يصدر حتى الآن أي رد فعل من قادة الاحتجاجات على هذه التعيينات.
الاضطرابات في مدغشقر
وتشكل هذه التعيينات لحظة حاسمة في ظل الاضطرابات السياسية في مدغشقر التي يعمل فيها الجيش على إحكام قبضته على السلطة، التي استولى عليها هذا الشهر، بينما يواجه صعاباً اقتصادية وانقسامات سياسية.
ونفذ الجيش انقلاباً هذا الشهر بعد فرار راجولينا من البلاد إثر احتجاجات قادها شباب على مدى أسابيع، وبعد ذلك بأيام أدى الكولونيل مايكل راندريانيرينا اليمين رئيساً مؤقتاً.
إطاحة الجيش بالرئيس
وقال الرئيس المؤقت مايكل راندريانيرينا إن لجنة بقيادة الجيش ستتولى حكم البلاد لمدة تصل إلى عامين إلى جانب حكومة انتقالية قبل إجراء انتخابات.
وفر الرئيس أندريه راجولينا (51 عاماً) بعد أن انحاز الجيش إلى المتظاهرين والمعارضين للحكومة في وقت سابق من هذا الشهر، رغم أن النظام العسكري الحاكم جرده من جنسيته واعتقل أحد حلفائه بتهمة الاشتباه في غسل الأموال.
Less than a month after seizing power, the army in Madagascar announced today (Tuesday) a new government, most of whose ministers are civilians, including some prominent critics of former President Andry Rajoelina.
Key Ministers
The government of the new Prime Minister Hery Rajaonarimampianina, announced via the national channel "TVM," includes 25 civilians and 4 military personnel, among them Christine Razanamahandry, who was stripped of her position as President of the National Assembly (the lower house of parliament) last year by Rajoelina's party and was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs. Meanwhile, Vanirisoa Irinaivo, an opponent of Rajoelina living abroad, was appointed Minister of Justice, while economics professor Hery Ramiharisoa was chosen as Minister of Finance.
The government appointed several security officials in the ministries of armed forces, public security, land planning, and the gendarmerie, and no reaction has yet been issued from the protest leaders regarding these appointments.
Unrest in Madagascar
These appointments represent a critical moment amid the political unrest in Madagascar, where the army is working to tighten its grip on power, which it seized this month, while facing economic difficulties and political divisions.
The army executed a coup this month after Rajoelina fled the country following weeks of protests led by youth, and days later Colonel Michael Randrianirina was sworn in as interim president.
Army Overthrows President
Interim President Michael Randrianirina stated that a committee led by the army would govern the country for up to two years alongside a transitional government before elections are held.
President Andry Rajoelina (51 years old) fled after the army sided with the protesters and government opponents earlier this month, although the ruling military regime stripped him of his citizenship and arrested one of his allies on suspicion of money laundering.
