أكد رئيس الوزراء اليمني سالم صالح بن بريك حرص الحكومة على تعزيز أوجه التعاون مع شركائها الدوليين بما يساهم في تعزيز مسار التعافي الاقتصادي وتخفيف الأعباء الإنسانية، مشدداً خلال اجتماع عقده عبر الاتصال المرئي مع عدد من البعثات الدبلوماسية والبنك الدولي على أهمية استمرار التعاون من خلال قنوات واضحة ومنظمة تضمن استدامة المساعدات الإنسانية والإنمائية، وتحقق أثراً مباشراً على حياة المواطنين، مشيراً إلى ضرورة تنسيق الجهود، والعمل على تطوير آليات الدعم وتوسيع مجالاته ليشمل تمويل المشاريع التنموية.
وخلص الاجتماع الذي شارك فيه سفيرتا بريطانيا عبدة شريف، وهولندا جانييت سيبين، والمدير الإقليمي للبنك الدولي في مصر واليمن وجيبوتي ومدير مكتب مجموعة البنك الدولي المسؤول عن اليمن دينا أبو غيدا، ومدير التعاون الاقتصادي في الاتحاد الأوروبي، ومسؤولة التعاون الدولي في السفارة الألمانية صوفيا بونجر، إلى الاتفاق على مواصلة التنسيق المشترك بين الحكومة وشركائها الدوليين لتطوير آليات الدعم وتوسيع مجالاته.
The Yemeni Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Breik affirmed the government's commitment to enhancing cooperation with its international partners in a way that contributes to strengthening the economic recovery path and alleviating humanitarian burdens. He emphasized during a virtual meeting with several diplomatic missions and the World Bank the importance of continuing cooperation through clear and organized channels that ensure the sustainability of humanitarian and developmental assistance, achieving a direct impact on the lives of citizens. He pointed out the necessity of coordinating efforts and working on developing support mechanisms and expanding its areas to include financing developmental projects.
The meeting, which included the participation of the British Ambassador Abda Sharif, the Dutch Ambassador Janiet Sieben, the World Bank's Regional Director for Egypt, Yemen, and Djibouti, and the Director of the World Bank Group Office responsible for Yemen, Dina Abu Ghaida, the Director of Economic Cooperation in the European Union, and the International Cooperation Officer at the German Embassy, Sofia Bunger, concluded with an agreement to continue joint coordination between the government and its international partners to develop support mechanisms and expand its areas.
