ترأس رئيس الوزراء اليمني سالم بن بريك اجتماعاً بقيادة وزارة التربية والتعليم ومكاتبها في المحافظات، تزامناً مع اقتراب العام الدراسي الجديد، مؤكداً أن التعليم يمثل أولوية وطنية وركيزة لصناعة المستقبل والنهضة، وأن الحكومة توليه اهتماماً خاصاً للارتقاء بمستواه وتحسين أوضاع المعلمين وتوفير بيئة تعليمية قادرة على مواكبة التطورات.
وشدد رئيس الوزراء اليمني على ضرورة وضع إستراتيجية واضحة لتطوير التعليم تعالج الاختلالات التي تراكمت في السنوات الأخيرة، وتقدم حلولاً شاملة للنهوض بالقطاع. وأكد أن التعليم حق مقدس للجميع، ولا يجوز تعطيل العملية التعليمية أو المتاجرة بها، مشيراً إلى أن إضرابات المعلمين لا يجب أن تتحول إلى وسيلة لحرمان الطلاب من مستقبلهم.
كما وجّه رئيس الوزراء بإلزام المدارس الخاصة بتخفيض الرسوم تماشياً مع تحسن سعر صرف العملة، متوعداً المخالفين بإجراءات قانونية صارمة. وحث المعلمين على موازنة حقوقهم المشروعة مع رسالتهم المقدسة تجاه الأجيال القادمة، معبراً عن تقديره لدورهم السامي، ومؤكداً التزام الحكومة بتحسين أوضاعهم.
The Yemeni Prime Minister, Salem bin Breik, chaired a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Education and its offices in the governorates, coinciding with the approach of the new academic year. He emphasized that education represents a national priority and a cornerstone for shaping the future and renaissance, and that the government pays special attention to elevating its standards, improving the conditions of teachers, and providing an educational environment capable of keeping pace with developments.
The Yemeni Prime Minister stressed the necessity of establishing a clear strategy for developing education that addresses the imbalances that have accumulated in recent years and provides comprehensive solutions to advance the sector. He affirmed that education is a sacred right for all, and that the educational process should not be disrupted or exploited, pointing out that teachers' strikes should not become a means to deprive students of their future.
He also directed that private schools be required to reduce fees in line with the improvement in the exchange rate of the currency, warning violators of strict legal measures. He urged teachers to balance their legitimate rights with their sacred mission towards future generations, expressing his appreciation for their noble role and reaffirming the government's commitment to improving their conditions.
