أعلنت الإدارة الإقليمية في منطقة فولغوغراد جنوب روسيا، اليوم (الإثنين)، أن هجومًا بطائرات مسيرة أوكرانية تسبب في أضرار بخط كهرباء واندلاع حريق في مبنى محطة قطارات أرتشيدا.
وأوضحت الإدارة عبر تطبيق «تليغرام»، نقلاً عن حاكم المنطقة أندريه بوتشاروف، أن إحدى الطائرات المسيرة سقطت دون انفجار بالقرب من مسارات السكك الحديدية، دون أن يُسجل أي ضرر في المسارات ذاتها.
وتسبب الهجوم في تأخير عدة قطارات إقليمية، وفقًا لوكالة الأنباء الروسية «تاس»، كما تم تعليق الرحلات الجوية في مطار فولغوغراد، المركز الإداري للمنطقة، لعدة ساعات قبل استئنافها نحو الساعة 03:00 بتوقيت غرينتش، حسبما أفادت هيئة الطيران المدني الروسية روسافياتسيا عبر «تليغرام».
وأكدت وزارة الدفاع الروسية أن وحداتها دمرت 61 طائرة مسيرة أوكرانية خلال الليل، منها 6 فوق منطقة فولغوغراد، دون الإفصاح عن إجمالي عدد الطائرات التي أطلقتها أوكرانيا.
ووصف بوتشاروف الهجوم بأنه ضخم واستهدف البنية التحتية للطاقة والنقل في المنطقة، فيما لم يصدر تعليق فوري من أوكرانيا، التي تشن هجمات متكررة على البنية التحتية الروسية التي تعتبرها داعمة للجهود الحربية الروسية، خاصة في مناطق مثل فولغوغراد القريبة من الحدود الأوكرانية.
The regional administration in the Volgograd area of southern Russia announced today (Monday) that an attack by Ukrainian drones caused damage to a power line and a fire at the Archida train station building.
The administration clarified via the Telegram app, citing the region's governor Andrei Bocharov, that one of the drones fell without exploding near the railway tracks, with no damage recorded to the tracks themselves.
The attack caused delays to several regional trains, according to the Russian news agency TASS, and flights at Volgograd Airport, the administrative center of the region, were suspended for several hours before resuming around 03:00 GMT, as reported by the Russian civil aviation authority Rosaviatsiya via Telegram.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that its units destroyed 61 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 6 over the Volgograd area, without disclosing the total number of drones launched by Ukraine.
Bocharov described the attack as massive and targeting the energy and transport infrastructure in the region, while no immediate comment was made by Ukraine, which has been carrying out repeated attacks on Russian infrastructure that it considers supportive of Russian wartime efforts, especially in areas like Volgograd near the Ukrainian border.
