أعلن المتحدث باسم السياسة الخارجية والأمن في الاتحاد الأوروبي أنور العنوني اليوم (الجمعة) أن إسرائيل لا تنفذ اتفاق غزة بالكامل، على الرغم من بعض الإشارات الإيجابية التي تمثلت في دخول المزيد من الشاحنات وأعمال إصلاح شبكات الكهرباء والمياه في القطاع.
وقال العنوني في تصريحات اليوم: «الاتفاق بين الاتحاد الأوروبي وإسرائيل يتركز على الجوانب الإنسانية فقط، ويجب فصله عن الجهود السياسية الجارية للتوصل إلى وقف إطلاق النار»، مضيفاً: «اتفاقنا مع إسرائيل واضح، حيث لا تمثل مؤسسة غزة الإنسانية جزءاً من هذا الاتفاق».
وأشار إلى أن «جهود الاتحاد تركز حالياً على وصول المساعدات عبر هيئات الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية غير الحكومية، وهذا ما تم الاتفاق عليه ونتمسك به»، داعياً إلى وقف إطلاق النار.
واستنكر المتحدث باسم السياسة الخارجية والأمن في الاتحاد الأوربي سقوط أي قتيل، مشدداً بالقول: «لقد حان الوقت لإنهاء دوامة العنف ووقف معاناة الفلسطينيين، خصوصاً في محيط مواقع توزيع المساعدات الإنسانية، وهو ما يؤكد الحاجة الملحة إلى وقف شامل لإطلاق النار».
وأشار إلى أن الاتحاد الأوروبي يراقب الوضع ميدانياً عن كثب من جميع الجوانب، لافتاً إلى أن أي تقدم في تنفيذ الاتفاقيات يجب أن يصاحبه التزام واضح بوقف أعمال القتل والانتهاكات.
في غضون ذلك، طالب المستشار الألماني فريدريش ميرتس اليوم رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو بضمان تدفق المساعدات الإنسانية إلى قطاع غزة.
وقال متحدث باسم الحكومة الألمانية إن ميرتس أجرى اتصالاً هاتفياً مع نتنياهو اليوم، أعرب خلاله عن أمله بالتوصل إلى وقف سريع لإطلاق النار في قطاع غزة، مبيناً أن ميرتس شدد على ضرورة إيصال المساعدات الإنسانية الطارئة إلى سكان قطاع غزة بشكل آمن ووسط ظروف لائقة وعدم اتخاذ أي خطوات نحو ضم الضفة الغربية.
The spokesperson for foreign policy and security in the European Union, Anwar Al-Anouni, announced today (Friday) that Israel is not fully implementing the Gaza agreement, despite some positive signs represented by the entry of more trucks and the repair of electricity and water networks in the sector.
Al-Anouni stated in remarks today: "The agreement between the European Union and Israel focuses solely on humanitarian aspects and must be separated from ongoing political efforts to reach a ceasefire," adding: "Our agreement with Israel is clear, as the Gaza Humanitarian Institution does not represent a part of this agreement."
He pointed out that "the Union's efforts are currently focused on the delivery of aid through UN agencies and international non-governmental organizations, and this is what has been agreed upon and we are committed to," calling for a ceasefire.
The spokesperson for foreign policy and security in the European Union condemned any loss of life, emphasizing: "It is time to end the cycle of violence and stop the suffering of the Palestinians, especially in the vicinity of humanitarian aid distribution sites, which underscores the urgent need for a comprehensive ceasefire."
He noted that the European Union is closely monitoring the situation on the ground from all aspects, pointing out that any progress in implementing agreements must be accompanied by a clear commitment to stop killings and violations.
Meanwhile, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz today urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to ensure the flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
A spokesperson for the German government stated that Merz had a phone call with Netanyahu today, during which he expressed his hope for a swift ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, indicating that Merz stressed the necessity of delivering emergency humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip safely and under decent conditions, and not taking any steps towards annexing the West Bank.
