نفت مصادر خاصة لـ«عكاظ» أنباء مناقشة الاتحاد العربي لكرة القدم، تأجيل بطولة كأس العرب للمنتخبات 2025.
وكانت تقارير صحفية أكدت أخيراً، اتجاه الاتحاد العربي لتأجيل بطولة كأس العرب للمنتخبات المقرر إقامتها في قطر خلال الفترة بين 1 إلى 18 ديسمبر القادم، بسبب الازدحام الكبير في الأجندة الدولية.
وأوضحت المصادر أن الاتحاد العربي لم يناقش حتى الآن قرار تأجيل كأس العرب للمنتخبات، وبالتالي ستُقام البطولة في موعدها المحدد، إلا إذا طرأت مستجدات جديدة.
ويوجد الأخضر السعودي، في المجموعة الثانية إلى جانب المغرب، والفائز من مواجهة عمان والصومال، والفائز من مباراة اليمن وجزر القمر.
وتشهد التصفيات التمهيدية التي ستقام في قطر يومي 25 و26 نوفمبر القادم، ثماني مباريات لتحديد المنتخبات السبعة المتأهلة إلى دور المجموعات.
وجاءت المجموعات الأربع على النحو التالي:
المجموعة الأولى: قطر، تونس، الفائز من سورية وجنوب السودان، الفائز من فلسطين وليبيا.
المجموعة الثانية: المغرب، السعودية، الفائز من عمان والصومال، الفائز من اليمن وجزر القمر.
المجموعة الثالثة: مصر، الأردن، الإمارات، الفائز من الكويت وموريتانيا.
المجموعة الرابعة: الجزائر، العراق، الفائز من البحرين وجيبوتي، الفائز من لبنان والسودان.
وأعلنت اللجنة المحلية المنظمة للبطولة تخصيص جوائز مالية ضخمة تصل إلى 36.5 مليون دولار، وهو رقم غير مسبوق يعكس توجه البطولة نحو تعزيز موقعها كواحدة من أبرز المنافسات القارية.

The sources clarified that the Arab Federation has not yet discussed the decision to postpone the Arab Cup for national teams, and thus the tournament will be held as scheduled, unless new developments arise.
The Saudi Green is in Group B alongside Morocco, the winner of the match between Oman and Somalia, and the winner of the match between Yemen and Comoros.
The preliminary qualifiers, which will be held in Qatar on November 25 and 26, will feature eight matches to determine the seven teams qualifying for the group stage.
The four groups are as follows:
Group A: Qatar, Tunisia, the winner of Syria and South Sudan, the winner of Palestine and Libya.
Group B: Morocco, Saudi Arabia, the winner of Oman and Somalia, the winner of Yemen and Comoros.
Group C: Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, the winner of Kuwait and Mauritania.
