The Ukrainian forces launched a drone attack last night, targeting Moscow and dozens of other Russian regions, resulting in the deaths of two people and damage to an agricultural company in the southwest of the country.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today (Friday) that it shot down 155 Ukrainian drones on the night of Thursday/Friday, following the Ukrainian attack. It stated on Telegram that air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 155 Ukrainian drones, adding that 53 of these unmanned aircraft were shot down in the Kursk region adjacent to Ukraine.

It added that most of the drones were destroyed over Russian areas on the border with Ukraine, namely Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk.

The governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artemonov, reported on the Telegram app that a drone fell in an area containing an agricultural company, causing a fire that lasted a short time and resulted in one death and another injury. Meanwhile, the governor of the Tula region, located about 200 kilometers south of Moscow, stated that one civilian was killed and another injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on the area.

Igor Artemonov wrote on Telegram: "Last night, a drone fell on the land belonging to agricultural facilities in the Khlivinsky region," located about 400 kilometers south of Moscow, causing a fire and "resulting in one death and another injury."

For its part, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency announced temporary restrictions on flight operations at Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg to ensure flight safety.

It stated in a release today (Friday) that temporary restrictions were imposed on the arrival and departure of flights at Pulkovo Airport to ensure flight safety. These restrictions were lifted a few hours later.

Meanwhile, around ten explosions targeted the Kharkiv region in eastern Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian TCN channel. Explosions also occurred in the Mykolaiv region in southern Ukraine, as reported by the newspaper "Obshchestvennoye Novosti," citing the mayor of Mykolaiv city, Alexander Senkevich.

In the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, which borders Russia, a Russian attack around one o'clock on Friday morning (22:00 GMT Thursday) resulted in three people being injured, according to the city's mayor.

Galina Minaeva wrote in a post on the Telegram app that the attack resulted in "the destruction of two houses" and damage to neighboring homes.
