The Israeli occupation army announced today (Thursday) that it targeted one of the military wing's headquarters of "Hezbollah" in southern Lebanon, confirming in a statement that the command center was operating under the cover of a civilian building.
It pointed out that the army took measures before executing the strike aimed at reducing the risk of harming civilian populations, considering the presence of the command center a blatant violation of the agreements "regarding the ceasefire" between Israel and Lebanon, and the Israeli army will continue to act to eliminate any threats.
Yesterday (Wednesday), the Israeli army announced that it had carried out "special and focused" ground operations in southern Lebanon to destroy "infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah".
The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichai Adraee, stated on his account on "X" that based on intelligence information and monitoring of Hezbollah's weaponry and infrastructure in several areas in southern Lebanon, the army forces proceeded to carry out special and focused operations aimed at destroying them and preventing Hezbollah from repositioning in the area.
For his part, an Israeli security source stated that the Israeli army's operations in Lebanon will continue as long as there is a military arm of Hezbollah, indicating in statements to "Sky News Arabia" today that every military activist in Hezbollah is a target for the occupation army.
He pointed out that anyone who lays down their weapon from the party's fighters and retires from military work will be left alone.
The source said: "Hezbollah, as infrastructure, weapons, and fighters, is a target across all Lebanese territories; we are active in all of Lebanon," indicating that the Radwan forces (affiliated with Hezbollah) will be dismantled, either by Hezbollah itself or by the occupation.
He noted that Hezbollah's attempts to return to the southern Litani are limited.
