أعلن رئيس الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات المصرية المستشار حازم بدوي، الجدول الزمني لانتخابات مجلس الشيوخ لعام 2025، وذلك خلال مؤتمر صحفي عُقد مساء (الثلاثاء) في القاهرة.
واستعرض رئيس الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات المصرية، المواعيد الإجرائية للعملية الانتخابية، بدءًا من فتح باب الترشح وصولًا إلى إعلان النتائج النهائية.
وفقًا للجدول الزمني، سيبدأ تلقي طلبات الترشح من 5 إلى 10 يوليو، يعقبه نشر كشوف أسماء المترشحين ورموزهم يوم 11 يوليو في صحيفتي الأخبار والجمهورية.
وستتولى محكمة القضاء الإداري الفصل في الطعون المقدمة على ترشيحات المرشحين خلال الفترة من 14 إلى 16 يوليو.
كما أوضح بدوي، أن القائمة النهائية للمترشحين ستُعلن يوم 18 يوليو، وهو اليوم الذي سيبدأ فيه فترة الدعاية الانتخابية، على أن يكون آخر موعد للتنازل عن الترشح يوم 20 يوليو.
وستُجرى الانتخابات في الخارج يومي 1 و2 أغسطس، بينما ستُعقد في الداخل يومي 4 و5 أغسطس.
وفي حال الحاجة إلى جولة إعادة، ستُجرى الانتخابات في الخارج يومي 25 و26 أغسطس، وفي الداخل يومي 27 و28 أغسطس، ومن المقرر إعلان النتائج النهائية يوم 4 سبتمبر.
وأكد المستشار حازم بدوي أهمية مشاركة المواطنين في العملية الانتخابية، مشيرًا إلى حرص الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات على ضمان شفافية ونزاهة الانتخابات.
ودعا المرشحين إلى الالتزام بالقواعد والمواعيد المحددة، لضمان سير العملية الانتخابية بسلاسة وفعالية.
يأتي هذا الإعلان في إطار الاستعدادات لتجديد مجلس الشيوخ، الغرفة الثانية في البرلمان المصري، والذي يلعب دورًا مهمًا في مراجعة التشريعات ودعم استقرار العملية السياسية في البلاد.

The head of the Egyptian National Election Authority reviewed the procedural dates for the electoral process, starting from the opening of the nomination period until the announcement of the final results.
According to the timeline, the submission of nomination applications will take place from July 5 to July 10, followed by the publication of the lists of candidates and their symbols on July 11 in the newspapers Al-Akhbar and Al-Jumhuriya.
The Administrative Court will handle appeals against candidates' nominations during the period from July 14 to July 16.
Badawy also clarified that the final list of candidates will be announced on July 18, which will mark the beginning of the election campaign period, with the last date for withdrawing candidacy set for July 20.
The elections will be held abroad on August 1 and 2, while they will take place domestically on August 4 and 5.
If a runoff is necessary, the elections will be conducted abroad on August 25 and 26, and domestically on August 27 and 28, with the final results scheduled to be announced on September 4.
Counselor Hazem Badawy emphasized the importance of citizen participation in the electoral process, noting the National Election Authority's commitment to ensuring the transparency and integrity of the elections.
He urged candidates to adhere to the established rules and timelines to ensure the smooth and effective conduct of the electoral process.
This announcement comes as part of the preparations for renewing the Senate, the second chamber of the Egyptian Parliament, which plays an important role in reviewing legislation and supporting the stability of the political process in the country.
