فيما دخل اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار بين إيران وإسرائيل مرحلته الثانية الساعة 16:00 مساءً بتوقيت غرينتش، بعد 12 ساعة من الاتهامات المتبادلة من الطرفين بارتكاب خروقات، أعلن رئيس الأركان الإسرائيلي إيال زامير اليوم (الثلاثاء)، أن الحملة ضد إيران لم تنتهِ رغم دخول وقف إطلاق النار حيز التنفيذ.
وقال زامير في اجتماع مع هيئة الأركان العامة: «نحن بصدد فصل مهم قد انتهى، لكن الحملة ضد إيران لم تنتهِ بعد وننتقل إلى فصل جديد قائم على إنجازات الحملة الحالية، لقد أعاقنا المشروع النووي الإيراني والصاروخي لسنوات، ويجب أن نبقى على الأرض». وأشار إلى أن التركيز منصب على العودة إلى غزة لإعادة الرهائن الإسرائيليين.
جاء ذلك بالتزامن مع إعلان الجبهة الداخلية الإسرائيلية انتقال جميع مناطق إسرائيل إلى مستوى النشاط الكامل دون قيود، بداية من الساعة 20:00 مساءً بالتوقيت المحلي (17:00 بتوقيت غرينتش).
ومن المقرر أن تستمر المرحلة الثانية من الاتفاق الذي أعلنه الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، 12 ساعة إضافية، وبعدها يعتبر ترمب أن الحرب انتهت رسمياً عندما يستمر الهدوء 24 ساعة، بحلول الساعة 4:00 من صباح غد (الأربعاء) بتوقيت غرينتش.
بالمقابل، أعلن الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان، أن إيران لن تخرق وقف إطلاق النار ما لم تخرقه إسرائيل، وأنها مستعدة للحوار والدفاع عن حقوق الشعب الإيراني على طاولة المفاوضات، مؤكداً أن الكيان الصهيوني يعول على إثارة استياء الشعب الإيراني، وأنه عجز عن تحقيق أهداف عدوانه على إيران.
ولقي وقف إطلاق النار ترحيباً دولياً واسعاً، وأعرب وزير خارجية إيطاليا أنطونيو تاياني عن أمله في أن يصمد الاتفاق بين إيران وإسرائيل. وقال لوكالة «آكي» الإيطالية للأنباء: «نسعى لضمان حوار مفتوح مع إيران».
وأشار إلى أنه اقترح روما كمكان لاستضافة لقاء بين الإدارة الأمريكية، والسلطات الإيرانية لإطلاق مباحثات مباشرة بشأن البرنامج النووي الإيراني.
As the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel entered its second phase at 16:00 GMT, after 12 hours of mutual accusations of violations from both sides, Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir announced today (Tuesday) that the campaign against Iran has not ended despite the ceasefire coming into effect.
Zamir stated in a meeting with the General Staff: “We are at an important chapter that has ended, but the campaign against Iran is not over yet, and we are moving to a new chapter based on the achievements of the current campaign. We have hindered the Iranian nuclear and missile project for years, and we must remain on the ground.” He noted that the focus is on returning to Gaza to bring back the Israeli hostages.
This announcement coincided with the Israeli Home Front's declaration that all areas of Israel would transition to full activity level without restrictions, starting from 20:00 local time (17:00 GMT).
The second phase of the agreement announced by U.S. President Donald Trump is set to last an additional 12 hours, after which Trump considers the war officially over when calm persists for 24 hours, by 4:00 AM tomorrow (Wednesday) GMT.
In contrast, Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian announced that Iran would not violate the ceasefire unless Israel does, and that it is ready for dialogue and to defend the rights of the Iranian people at the negotiating table, emphasizing that the Zionist entity relies on stirring discontent among the Iranian people and has failed to achieve its aggressive goals against Iran.
The ceasefire has received widespread international welcome, and Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani expressed hope that the agreement between Iran and Israel would hold. He told the Italian news agency “AKI”: “We seek to ensure an open dialogue with Iran.”
He indicated that he proposed Rome as a venue to host a meeting between the U.S. administration and Iranian authorities to initiate direct talks regarding the Iranian nuclear program.
