رغم دخول وقف إطلاق النار بين إسرائيل وإيران حيز التنفيذ، دوت صفارات الإنذار في شمال إسرائيل خصوصا في الجليل وضواحي حيفا. وفيما حذر الجيش الإسرائيلي من أن صواريخ إيرانية أطلقت نحو البلاد، أكد الجيش الإيراني أنه لم يطلق أية صواريخ خلال الساعات الماضية. وأعلن رئيس الأركان الإسرائيلي إيال زامير، أن تل أبيب «سترد بقوة في ظل الانتهاكات الجسيمة لوقف إطلاق النار من قبل إيران»، وفق تعبيره. فيما أكد وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس، أنه أمر الجيش بالرد بقوة. وقال في بيان مقتضب «سنواصل شن هجمات على طهران ردا على انتهاك وقف النار». وتوعد وزير المالية الإسرائيلي بتسلئيل سموتريتش، طهران بدفع الثمن، قائلا إن إيران «ستهتز ردا على خرق وقف النار». وحث زعيم حزب «إسرائيل بيتنا»، أفيغدور ليبرمان على الرد، معتبراً «أنه لا يجوز التهاون ولا التغاضي، ويجب الرد فورا»، وفق قوله.
في المقابل، نفى الجيش الإيراني ومجلس الأمن القومي إطلاق أي صواريخ جديدة نحو إسرائيل. إلا أن المجلس الأمني أكد أن «القوات المسلحة الإيرانية لا تثق بكلام أعدائها، وأنها ستبقي يدها على الزناد للرد على أي عمل عدواني آخر»، وفقا لوكالة «فارس».
وكان المتحدث باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي إيفي ديفرين قال إن «الخطر لا يزال قائما» رغم إعلان الحكومة موافقتها على مقترح الرئيس الأمريكي لوقف إطلاق النار مع إيران بعد 12 يوما من التصعيد بين البلدين. وقال المتحدث في تصريح صحفي متلفز «وجه رئيس الأركان الجيش بأكمله للحفاظ على مستوى عال من التأهب والاستعداد للرد بقوة على أي خرق لوقف إطلاق النار». وأكد أنه «لا يوجد أي تغيير في تعليمات قيادة الجبهة الداخلية»، داعياً إلى الالتزام بالتوجيهات.
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أعلن دخول وقف النار حيز التنفيذ، داعيا البلدين إلى عدم خرقه والالتزام بالهدنة.
وشددت الحكومة الإسرائيلية على أنها سترد بقوة على أي خرق لهذا الاتفاق، معلنة «تحقيق نصر كبير والقضاء على التهديد الإيراني النووي والصاروخي».

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich threatened Tehran with consequences, saying that Iran "will shake in response to the breach of the ceasefire." The leader of the "Yisrael Beiteinu" party, Avigdor Lieberman, urged a response, considering that "there should be no leniency or neglect, and we must respond immediately," according to his statement.
In contrast, the Iranian army and the National Security Council denied launching any new missiles towards Israel. However, the security council confirmed that "the Iranian armed forces do not trust the words of their enemies, and they will keep their hand on the trigger to respond to any other aggressive act," according to the "Fars" news agency.

He confirmed that "there is no change in the instructions of the Home Front Command," calling for adherence to the guidelines.
