لم تمضِ سوى ساعات على ضرب الولايات المتحدة المنشآت النووية الإيرانية، بـ«قنبلة اختراق المخابئ»، حتى أصدرت وزارة الأمن الداخلي الأمريكية مذكرة حول الأخطار التي تهدد الولايات المتحدة بعد تدخلها في النزاع بين إسرائيل وإيران وضرب مواقع على أراضي الجمهورية الإسلامية.
وقالت وزيرة الأمن الداخلي الأمريكية كرستي نويم في بيان، (الأحد): «من واجبنا أن نضمن أمن البلاد وإحاطتها علماً، خصوصاً في أوقات النزاع».
وأضافت أن «النزاع الإسرائيلي الإيراني المستمر يجلب احتمال تزايد المخاطر على الوطن بشكل هجمات سيبرانية محتملة، وأعمال عنف وجرائم كراهية معادية للسامية».
ويأتي ذلك بعد أن وجهت الولايات المتحدة ضربة عسكرية إلى مواقع نووية في إيران بعد أيام من إطلاق إسرائيل العمل العسكري ضد الجمهورية الإسلامية، الذي قالت الحكومة الإسرائيلية إنه يهدف إلى إيقاف البرنامج النووي الإيراني وتدمير ترسانة طهران من الصواريخ.
وتوعدت إيران بالرد على الهجوم الأمريكي، فيما حذّر الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب طهران من اتخاذ أي خطوات، مشيراً إلى أنها ستستدعي ضربات أمريكية أكثر وبمزيد من القوة.
يشار إلى أن المذكرة ستكون سارية المفعول حتى 22 سبتمبر القادم، وعلى المواطنين الإبلاغ بوقوع أي خطر متعلق بالعنف إلى الهيئات الأمنية المحلية والمكاتب الميدانية لمكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي وغيرها.
Only a few hours passed since the United States struck Iranian nuclear facilities with a "bunker-busting bomb" when the U.S. Department of Homeland Security issued a memo regarding the threats facing the United States following its intervention in the conflict between Israel and Iran and the strikes on sites within the Islamic Republic.
U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen stated in a statement on Sunday, "It is our duty to ensure the security of the country and to keep it informed, especially during times of conflict."
She added that "the ongoing Israeli-Iranian conflict brings the potential for increased risks to the homeland in the form of potential cyberattacks, acts of violence, and anti-Semitic hate crimes."
This comes after the United States launched a military strike on nuclear sites in Iran just days after Israel initiated military action against the Islamic Republic, which the Israeli government stated aimed to halt the Iranian nuclear program and destroy Tehran's missile arsenal.
Iran has vowed to respond to the U.S. attack, while U.S. President Donald Trump warned Tehran against taking any steps, indicating that it would lead to more American strikes and with greater force.
It is worth noting that the memo will remain in effect until September 22, and citizens are urged to report any threats related to violence to local security agencies and the field offices of the FBI and others.
