فيما تضاربت الأنباء حول مصير مستشار المرشد الإيراني علي شمخاني الذي قال التلفزيون الرسمي إنه توفي متأثراً بإصابته، ونفى طبيبه تلك الأنباء، أكد وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي اليوم (السبت) أن لبلاده حق الدفاع عن النفس وقد قامت بالرد على اعتداءات إسرائيل وستفعل ذلك مستقبلاً أيضاً.
وقال عراقجي في تصريحات له: العدوان الإسرائيلي في ظل مفاوضات بين إيران وواشنطن يظهر عداء هذا الكيان للدبلوماسية، محذراً من أن الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على إيران ستدفع بالمنطقة نحو دوامة خطيرة من العنف.
واتهم وزير الخارجية الإيراني، إسرائيل بالوقوف وراء تقويض المفاوضات النووية مع أمريكا.
وكانت الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية قد أكدت تضرر 4 مبانٍ بموقع أصفهان النووي بينها منشأة تحويل اليورانيوم ومصنع صفائح الوقود، مشيرة إلى أنها لا تتوقع حدوث زيادة في الإشعاع خارج موقع أصفهان النووي.
وأكدت وكالة أنباء تسنيم الإيرانية دوي انفجار في محيط قاعدة عسكرية بمدينة أرومية شمال غربي إيران، فيما قالت وزارة النفط الإيرانية إنها سيطرت على حريق إثر هجوم إسرائيلي على مصفاة بحقل بارس، ومصفاة فجر جم جنوب غربي البلاد.
وأفادت هيئة إدارة الأزمات في محافظة قم الإيرانية أن الجيش أسقط مسيّرتين إسرائيليتين عصر اليوم في المحافظة، في حين ذكرت وكالة تسنيم الإيرانية أن شخصين قتلا في هجوم إسرائيلي مباشر على سيارة إسعاف في أذربيجان الغربية.
بالمقابل، قالت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية إن المجلس الأمني المصغر يبحث في هذه اللحظة توسيع الأهداف في إيران، مبينة أن أسراباً من المقاتلات الإسرائيلية شوهدت تنطلق من قواعدها في الشمال باتجاه الشرق.
وقال رئيس أركان الجيش الإسرائيلي إيال زامير إن الجيش يعمل على تمهيد الطريق إلى طهران، مشدداً بالقول: «قمنا بإنجاز غير مسبوق في تاريخ الجيش عملياتياً واستخباراتياً وتكنولوجياً».
While conflicting reports emerged regarding the fate of Iranian Supreme Leader's advisor Ali Shamkhani, whom state television reported had died from his injuries, his doctor denied those reports. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed today (Saturday) that his country has the right to self-defense and has responded to Israeli attacks and will do so in the future as well.
Araghchi stated in his remarks: "The Israeli aggression during negotiations between Iran and Washington shows this entity's hostility towards diplomacy," warning that Israeli attacks on Iran will push the region towards a dangerous spiral of violence.

The International Atomic Energy Agency had confirmed damage to four buildings at the Isfahan nuclear site, including a uranium conversion facility and a fuel plate factory, noting that it does not expect an increase in radiation outside the Isfahan nuclear site.
The Iranian news agency Tasnim confirmed an explosion in the vicinity of a military base in the city of Urmia in northwestern Iran, while the Iranian Ministry of Oil stated that it had controlled a fire following an Israeli attack on a refinery in the Pars field and the Fajr Jam refinery in the southwestern part of the country.
The Crisis Management Authority in Qom province reported that the army shot down two Israeli drones this afternoon in the province, while Tasnim news agency reported that two people were killed in a direct Israeli attack on an ambulance in West Azerbaijan.
In contrast, Israeli media reported that the security cabinet is currently discussing the expansion of targets in Iran, indicating that swarms of Israeli fighter jets were seen taking off from their bases in the north towards the east.
Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir stated that the army is working to pave the way to Tehran, emphasizing: "We have achieved an unprecedented operational, intelligence, and technological accomplishment in the history of the army."
