دعا وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان الدول الأوروبية إلى الاعتراف بدولة فلسطين. وأكد خلال مؤتمر صحفي مشترك لوزراء خارجية الأردن ومصر والبحرين في عمّان، اليوم (الأحد)، أن المواقف الأوروبية تجاه إسرائيل لا تكفي، مشدداً على وجوب أن تتوقف الحرب. وطالب من يرى أن حل الدولتين هو الخيار، بالاعتراف بدولة فلسطين فوراً.
وحث الأمير فيصل بن فرحان المجتمع الدولي على رؤية النهج الإصلاحي للسلطة الفلسطينية، مؤكداً أن إسرائيل تعمل على تقويض السلطة الفلسطينية في الضفة الغربية المحتلة. وقال وزير الخارجية إن رفض الحكومة الإسرائيلية السماح لوفد من الوزراء العرب بزيارة الضفة الغربية المحتلة، يُظهر تطرفها ورفضها للسلام، مؤكدا أن هذه التصرفات لن تزيدنا إلا عزيمة لمضاعفة الجهود الدبلوماسية في المجتمع الدولي لمواجهة عنجهية إسرائيل. وشدد الأمير فيصل بن فرحان ، على أن الحلول العسكرية لن تأتي بالأمن لأي طرف ولابد من حل سياسي، مشددا على " لن نقبل بحل إلا بقيام الدولة الفلسطينية". وأكد أنه يجب على إسرائيل أن تمضي قدما فيما يخص التعايش مع دولة فلسطينية. وقال إن ما نراه في قطاع غزة "حرب إبادة"، وما يحدث في الضفة الغربية تقويض للسلطة الفلسطينية. وأضاف وزير الخارجية :بحثنا موضوع وقف إطلاق النار وإطلاق سراح الرهائن ودخول المساعدات، والجهود الرامية لدفع عدد أكبر من الدول للاعتراف بدولة فلسطين.

من جانبه، شدد وزير الخارجية الأردني أيمن الصفدي على أهمية أن يتخذ المجتمع الدولي خطوات عملية تجاه حل الدولتين.
وأفاد بأن منع زيارة الوفد المشترك للضفة الغربية دليل على غطرسة الحكومة الإسرائيلية وعدم اكتراثها بالقانون الدولي. وقال إن الحكومة الإسرائيلية المتطرفة التي تقتل الأطفال هي التي منعت الوفد من زيارة رام الله.
فيما شدد وزير الخارجية المصري بدر عبدالعاطي على أن موقف تل أبيب يدل على الغطرسة المتطرفة، ويؤكد عدم وجود شريك حقيقي للسلام. وأضاف أن الدول العربية ماضية في التصدي لجميع مخططات تهجير الفلسطينيين من أرضهم بكل قوة.
بحث وزراء الخارجية مع الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس عبر تقنية الفيديو آخر المستجدات المرتبطة بالحرب في غزة، وخطة الإصلاح في السلطة ، مؤكدين أن إقامة دولة فلسطينية هي الطريق لتحقيق السلام.
وكان أعضاء اللجنة الوزارية المكلّفة من القمة العربية الإسلامية الاستثنائية المشتركة بشأن غزة وصلوا مساء السبت، إلى العاصمة الأردنية عمّان، في زيارة كانت تهدف إلى عقد اجتماع تنسيقي قُبَيل زيارة كانت مقررة إلى رام الله انطلاقاً من عمّان (الأحد)، إلا أنها تأجلت بعد تعطيل إسرائيل لها من خلال رفض دخول الوفد عبر أجواء الضفة الغربية المحتلة التي تسيطر عليها.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, called on European countries to recognize the State of Palestine. He emphasized during a joint press conference with the foreign ministers of Jordan, Egypt, and Bahrain in Amman today (Sunday) that European positions towards Israel are not enough, stressing that the war must stop. He urged those who see the two-state solution as the option to recognize the State of Palestine immediately.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan urged the international community to recognize the reform approach of the Palestinian Authority, confirming that Israel is working to undermine the Palestinian Authority in the occupied West Bank. The Foreign Minister stated that the Israeli government's refusal to allow a delegation of Arab ministers to visit the occupied West Bank demonstrates its extremism and rejection of peace, asserting that these actions will only strengthen our resolve to intensify diplomatic efforts in the international community to confront Israel's arrogance. Prince Faisal bin Farhan stressed that military solutions will not bring security to any party and that a political solution is necessary, emphasizing, "We will not accept any solution except with the establishment of the Palestinian state." He confirmed that Israel must move forward regarding coexistence with a Palestinian state. He stated that what we see in the Gaza Strip is "genocide," and what is happening in the West Bank is an undermining of the Palestinian Authority. The Foreign Minister added: "We discussed the issue of a ceasefire, the release of hostages, the entry of aid, and efforts to encourage more countries to recognize the State of Palestine."

For his part, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi emphasized the importance of the international community taking practical steps towards the two-state solution.
He stated that the prevention of the joint delegation's visit to the West Bank is evidence of the Israeli government's arrogance and its disregard for international law. He said that the extremist Israeli government that kills children is the one that prevented the delegation from visiting Ramallah.
Meanwhile, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atti stressed that Tel Aviv's position indicates extreme arrogance and confirms the absence of a true partner for peace. He added that Arab countries are determined to confront all plans to displace Palestinians from their land with full force.
The foreign ministers discussed with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas via video conference the latest developments related to the war in Gaza and the reform plan in the Authority, confirming that the establishment of a Palestinian state is the path to achieving peace.
Members of the ministerial committee tasked by the extraordinary joint Arab Islamic summit regarding Gaza arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Saturday evening, for a visit aimed at holding a coordinating meeting ahead of a planned visit to Ramallah from Amman (Sunday), but it was postponed after Israel obstructed it by refusing to allow the delegation to enter through the airspace of the occupied West Bank that it controls.
