فيما أقر عدد من الجنود الإسرائيليين بإصدار قادتهم أوامر باستخدام فلسطينيين دروعاً بشرية، تظاهر عشرات الإسرائيليين اليوم (السبت) أمام منازل الرئيس الإسرائيلي إستحاق هيرتسوغ ووزير التعليم يوآف كيش ورئيس اللجنة الخارجية والأمن في الكنيست، للمطالبة بصفقة تبادل للأسرى.
قالت هيئة عائلات الأسرى في بيان: كل الإسرائيليين يريدون عودة الرهائن ووقف الحرب، مضيفين: لقد آن الأوان لتستجيب الحكومة لإرادة الشعب وتعيد جميع الأسرى دفعة واحدة.
واتهمت الهيئة رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو بالسعي لدفن الرهائن في الأنفاق من خلال توسيع العملية العسكرية في قطاع غزة، مناشدين الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب إجبار نتنياهو على إنهاء الحرب.
وأوضحت الهيئة أن نتنياهو يجر إسرائيل إلى كارثة وستقتل الحرب الأسرى ومزيداً من الجنود، محذرين من أن الحرب الحالية تخدم فقط نتنياهو وشركاءه المنفصلين عن المجتمع.
واعتبرت الهيئة تعيين ديفيد زيني رئيساً جديداً لجهاز الأمن الداخلي (الشاباك) بأنه في إطار مساعي نتنياهو لتعيين شخص غير معني بإعادة الرهائن وإنما يريد حرباً أبدية لكننا لن تقبل ذلك.
وسادت حالة من الذعر في صفوف الإسرائيليين بعد تلقيهم مكالمات هاتفية من أرقام مجهولة تعرض تسجيلات لأسرى يصرخون رعباً في قطاع غزة، وبحسب صحيفة يديعوت أحرونوت الإسرائيلية فإنه سمع أصوات أسرى، وصفارات إنذار، وانفجارات في الخلفية.
وقالت هيئة عائلات الأسرى الإسرائيليين إن بعض أفرادها تلقوا هذه المكالمات، وتضمنت تسجيلات لأسرى يصرخون رعباً، في ظل أصوات قصف للجيش الإسرائيلي في الخلفية.
في غضون ذلك، أقر جنود في جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي أن القوات تُجبر الفلسطينيين بشكل منهجي على العمل كدروع بشرية في غزة، وتُرسلهم إلى المباني والأنفاق بحثاً عن متفجرات أو مسلحين، موضحة أن هذه الممارسة الخطيرة أصبحت شائعة خلال الحرب المستمرة منذ 20 شهراً.
ونقلت منظمة «كسر الصمت» عن جنود إسرائيليين قولهم: إن القادة كانوا على دراية باستخدام الفلسطينيين دروعاً بشرية وتسامحوا مع ذلك، بل أصدر بعضهم أوامر بذلك، مؤكدين أن استخدام الفلسطينيين دروعاً بشرية كان يُشار إليه باسم «بروتوكول الباعوض»، وأن الفلسطينيين كانوا يُطلق عليهم أيضاً اسم «الدبابير» وغيرها من المصطلحات.
وقال ضابط إسرائيلي: غالباً ما كانت الأوامر تأتي من الأعلى، وفي بعض الأحيان كان كل فصيل عسكري تقريباً يستخدم فلسطينياً لتطهير المواقع.
بدورها، ترى المدير التنفيذي لمنظمة «كسر الصمت» ناداف فايمان، التي جمعت الروايات للجنود والضباط الإسرائيليين، أن هذه ليست روايات معزولة، بل إنها تُشير إلى فشل منهجي وانهيار أخلاقي مُريع،
While a number of Israeli soldiers admitted that their leaders issued orders to use Palestinians as human shields, dozens of Israelis demonstrated today (Saturday) in front of the homes of Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Education Minister Yoav Kisch, and the head of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in the Knesset, demanding a prisoner exchange deal.
The Families of Prisoners Committee stated in a statement: All Israelis want the return of the hostages and an end to the war, adding: It is time for the government to respond to the will of the people and return all prisoners at once.
The committee accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of seeking to bury the hostages in the tunnels by expanding the military operation in the Gaza Strip, appealing to U.S. President Donald Trump to force Netanyahu to end the war.
The committee clarified that Netanyahu is dragging Israel into disaster and that the war will kill prisoners and more soldiers, warning that the current war serves only Netanyahu and his partners who are disconnected from society.
The committee considered the appointment of David Zini as the new head of the internal security service (Shabak) to be part of Netanyahu's efforts to appoint someone uninterested in returning the hostages but who wants an eternal war, which we will not accept.
A state of panic prevailed among Israelis after receiving phone calls from unknown numbers offering recordings of prisoners screaming in terror in the Gaza Strip. According to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, voices of prisoners, alarm sirens, and explosions were heard in the background.
The Israeli Families of Prisoners Committee stated that some of its members received these calls, which included recordings of prisoners screaming in terror amid the sounds of Israeli military shelling in the background.
Meanwhile, soldiers in the Israeli occupation army acknowledged that the forces systematically force Palestinians to work as human shields in Gaza, sending them into buildings and tunnels in search of explosives or militants, explaining that this dangerous practice has become common during the ongoing war for 20 months.
The organization "Breaking the Silence" reported Israeli soldiers saying that the leaders were aware of the use of Palestinians as human shields and tolerated it, with some even issuing orders for it, confirming that the use of Palestinians as human shields was referred to as the "Mosquito Protocol," and that Palestinians were also called "wasps" and other terms.
An Israeli officer said: Orders often came from above, and sometimes almost every military faction used a Palestinian to clear sites.
