ضبطت الأجهزة الأمنية في الكويت مواطناً أساء للوحدة الوطنية عمداً عبر إحدى منصات التواصل الاجتماعي في محاولة لإثارة الفتنة بين أفراد المجتمع، وذلك على إثر نشره تغريدة تم تداولها عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، تتضمن إساءات تمس النسيج المجتمعي وتحض على الطائفية، وتم اتخاذ كافة الإجراءات القانونية بحقه.
وشددت وزارة الداخلية الكويتية على أنها لن تتهاون مع أي شخص يتعمد المساس أو الإخلال بالوحدة الوطنية، أو يحاول نشر خطاب الكراهية أو الدعوة إلى إثارة الفتنة الطائفية.
