استقبل مفتي عام المملكة رئيس هيئة كبار العلماء الرئيس العام للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء الشيخ الدكتور صالح بن فوزان بن عبدالله الفوزان، في مكتبه بمقر الرئاسة بالرياض أمس، وزير الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد الشيخ الدكتور عبداللطيف بن عبدالعزيز آل الشيخ، بحضور الأمين العام لهيئة كبار العلماء والأمين العام للجنة الدائمة للفتوى المشرف العام على مكتب المفتي الشيخ الدكتور فهد بن سعد الماجد.
وأثنى المفتي، خلال الاستقبال، على الجهود التي تقوم بها وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية وفق اختصاصها، لا سيما تلك التي تتعلق بالمساجد والجوامع، مؤكداً أهمية دور الوزارة في تبصير الناس تجاه الأمور والواجبات الدينية وفق رسالة الإسلام السمحة.
من جهته، أعرب الوزير آل الشيخ عن تهنئته للمفتي بالثقة الملكية بتعيينه مفتياً عاماً للمملكة ورئيساً لهيئة كبار العلماء، سائلاً الله تعالى أن يوفقه ويعينه لخدمة الإسلام والمسلمين وفق رسالة هيئة كبار العلماء السامية.
The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and General President of Scientific Research and Ifta, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan bin Abdullah Al-Fawzan, received yesterday in his office at the headquarters in Riyadh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars and the Secretary-General of the Permanent Committee for Ifta, the General Supervisor of the Mufti's Office, Sheikh Dr. Fahd bin Saad Al-Majed.
During the reception, the Mufti praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in accordance with its responsibilities, especially those related to mosques and prayer halls, emphasizing the importance of the ministry's role in enlightening people about religious matters and duties in accordance with the noble message of Islam.
For his part, Minister Al-Sheikh expressed his congratulations to the Mufti on the royal trust in appointing him as the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom and Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, asking Allah Almighty to grant him success and assistance in serving Islam and Muslims in accordance with the lofty message of the Council of Senior Scholars.
