أعلنت سفيرة خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الأميرة ريما بنت بندر بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، إطلاق النسخة الجديدة من مبادرة «10KSA» لعام 2025، في يوم 8 ديسمبر 2025، تحت شعار «معاً لأجل الصحة»، وذلك خلال انعقاد ملتقى الصحة العالمي بنسخته الثامنة من 27-30 أكتوبر 2025 في مركز الرياض للمعارض والمؤتمرات-ملهم.
وأوضحت خلال كلمتها في ملتقى الصحة العالمي أن المبادرة تسهم في رفع الوعي والمساعدة على إدراك أهمية الصحة الوقائية من خلال إجراء الفحوصات الدورية والكشف المبكر، مما يزيد من فرص نجاح العلاج، إذ تهدف المبادرة إلى تعزيز الوعي الصحي بأمراض السرطان كافة وتشجيع الكشف المبكر وتبنّي أنماط حياة صحية، عبر تنفيذ مجموعة من الأنشطة ومنها زراعة 10 آلاف شتلة خزامى في عسير احتفاءً بالذكرى العاشرة للمبادرة، وتشكيل شرائط بلون الخزامى، داعيةً إلى توثيقها عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
وتنطلق مبادرة «10KSA»، بعملٍ حكومي تكاملي يجسّد التعاون بين مختلف القطاعات لتعزيز الوعي الصحي، مدعومةً من وزارة الصحة والأمانة العامة للجنة الوزارية للصحة في كل السياسات، ووزارة التعليم، ووزارة الخارجية، ووزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة، وهيئة تطوير منطقة عسير، وصندوق البيئة ومؤسسة مروج، إضافة إلى شركائها وهم البنك العربي الوطني، وشركة مكاتفة للاستشارات، ومجموعة روشن، إضافة إلى ويبوك.
من جانبها، أكدت «الصحة» أن المبادرة تسهم في ترسيخ مفهوم الوقاية قبل العلاج، مشيرة إلى التزامها بالتنسيق المشترك مع مختلف الجهات الحكومية والخاصة، دعماً لتحقيق مستهدفات برنامج تحول القطاع الصحي المنبثق من رؤية السعودية 2030 في بناء «مجتمع حيوي» ينعم بصحة مستدامة، و«وطن طموح» يقوم على حكومة فاعلة تتناغم جهودها لتعزيز كفاءة الأداء.
يُذكر أن مبادرة «10KSA» أطلقتها الأميرة ريما بنت بندر بن سلطان عام 2015؛ بهدف تعزيز الوعي بالسرطان والصحة الوقائية، ولا تزال حتى اليوم تحمل لقب أكبر شريط توعوي بشري في العالم، بعد أن سجّلت دخولها موسوعة غينيس للأرقام القياسية بمشاركة نحو 9 آلاف امرأة في الرياض.
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States, Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, announced the launch of the new version of the "10KSA" initiative for 2025, on December 8, 2025, under the slogan "Together for Health." This announcement was made during the eighth edition of the Global Health Forum, which will be held from October 27-30, 2025, at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center - Mlehim.
In her speech at the Global Health Forum, she explained that the initiative contributes to raising awareness and helping to recognize the importance of preventive health through regular check-ups and early detection, which increases the chances of successful treatment. The initiative aims to enhance health awareness regarding all types of cancer and encourage early detection and the adoption of healthy lifestyles, by implementing a series of activities, including planting 10,000 lavender seedlings in Asir in celebration of the tenth anniversary of the initiative, and forming ribbons in lavender color, calling for their documentation through social media.
The "10KSA" initiative is launched through a collaborative government effort that embodies cooperation among various sectors to enhance health awareness, supported by the Ministry of Health and the General Secretariat of the Ministerial Health Committee in all policies, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the Asir Development Authority, the Environmental Fund, and the Murooj Foundation, in addition to its partners, which include the National Arab Bank, Makatfa Consulting Company, Roshan Group, and WeBook.
For its part, the Ministry of Health confirmed that the initiative contributes to establishing the concept of prevention before treatment, noting its commitment to joint coordination with various governmental and private entities, in support of achieving the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program derived from Saudi Vision 2030, in building a "Vibrant Society" that enjoys sustainable health, and an "Ambitious Nation" based on an effective government whose efforts harmonize to enhance performance efficiency.
It is worth mentioning that the "10KSA" initiative was launched by Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan in 2015, with the aim of promoting awareness of cancer and preventive health, and it still holds the title of the largest human awareness ribbon in the world, after its entry into the Guinness World Records with the participation of about 9,000 women in Riyadh.
