رحَّبت رابطةُ العالم الإسلامي بالإعلان عن التوصّل إلى اتفاق بشأن المرحلة الأولى من مقترح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب؛ لإنهاء الحرب على قطاع غزة.
وفي بيانٍ للأمانة العامة للرابطة، شدَّد معالي الأمين العامّ، رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين، فضيلة الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى، على الضرورة المُلحَّة للالتزام الكامل بالاتفاق في هذه المرحلة الحرجة؛ إنقاذًا للأرواح من حرب الإبادة والكارثة الإنسانية التي يشهدها القطاع، وتمهيدًا لإنهاء دوّامة العنف والحروب، وإرساء السَّلام الدائم الشَّامل والعادل، وفق القرارات الدولية ذات الصلة، و«بيان نيويورك لحل الدولتين».
The Muslim World League welcomed the announcement of reaching an agreement regarding the first phase of the proposal by U.S. President Donald Trump to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement from the League's General Secretariat, His Excellency the Secretary-General, President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, the Honorable Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, emphasized the urgent necessity for full commitment to the agreement at this critical stage; to save lives from the genocide and humanitarian disaster being witnessed in the region, and to pave the way for ending the cycle of violence and wars, and establishing lasting, comprehensive, and just peace, in accordance with relevant international resolutions and the "New York Statement on the Two-State Solution."
