استقبل أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه بديوان الإمارة اليوم (الأحد)، رئيس أرامكو السعودية المهندس أمين الناصر، يرافقه عدد من قياداتها، إذ قدّموا لأمير المنطقة الشرقية تقريراً عن مستوى الإنجاز في مشروع «ملعب أرامكو» الرياضي الجاري إنشاؤه.
وأشاد أمير المنطقة الشرقية بالدعم الكبير الذي توليه القيادة الرشيدة للقطاع الرياضي، والذي أثمر عن استضافة المملكة لبطولة كأس آسيا 2027 وكأس العالم لكرة القدم 2034، بما يعكس المكانة المتقدمة للمملكة وثقة المجتمع الرياضي الدولي بقدراتها.
وثمّن أمير المنطقة الشرقية الجهود التي تبذلها أرامكو السعودية في تنفيذ هذا المشروع الحيوي، مؤكداً أن مثل هذه المبادرات تسهم في الارتقاء بجودة الحياة وإضافة دور مهم للمنطقة الشرقية بصفتها وجهة للرياضة والفعاليات المجتمعية.
ويُعد الملعب من المشاريع النوعية التي تنفذها أرامكو السعودية، إذ صُمم ليكون منشأة رياضية متكاملة مهيأة لاستضافة المباريات والفعاليات الرياضية المختلفة، بما يضيف إلى البنية التحتية الرياضية في المنطقة، ويواكب مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 في دعم الرياضة والمجتمع.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, received the President of Saudi Aramco, Engineer Amin Nasser, in his office at the Emirate's Diwan today (Sunday), accompanied by several of its leaders, who presented to the Prince of the Eastern Province a report on the progress of the "Aramco Stadium" sports project currently under construction.
The Prince of the Eastern Province praised the significant support provided by the wise leadership to the sports sector, which has resulted in the Kingdom hosting the 2027 AFC Asian Cup and the 2034 FIFA World Cup, reflecting the Kingdom's advanced status and the international sports community's confidence in its capabilities.
The Prince of the Eastern Province appreciated the efforts made by Saudi Aramco in implementing this vital project, affirming that such initiatives contribute to enhancing the quality of life and adding an important role for the Eastern Province as a destination for sports and community events.
The stadium is considered one of the quality projects being implemented by Saudi Aramco, designed to be a comprehensive sports facility prepared to host various matches and sporting events, thereby adding to the sports infrastructure in the region and aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in supporting sports and the community.
