التقى المستشار بالديوان الملكي المشرف العام على مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية الدكتور عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز الربيعة اليوم (الخميس)، المدير التنفيذي لبرنامج الأغذية العالمي سيندي هينسلي ماكين، وذلك على هامش أعمال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة بدورتها الثمانين المنعقدة في مدينة نيويورك.
وتناول اللقاء الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك المتصلة بالشؤون الإنسانية والإغاثية، ومناقشة مستجدات المشاريع الغذائية المنفذة بينهما.
وأشادت سيندي ماكين بمنجزات المركز الكبيرة في الميادين الإنسانية والإغاثية والتنموية وعمله الدؤوب لمساعدة الدول والشعوب المحتاجة حول العالم.
The advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabiah, met today (Thursday) with the Executive Director of the World Food Programme, Cindy Hensley McCain, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly held in New York City.
The meeting addressed topics of mutual interest related to humanitarian and relief affairs, as well as discussing updates on the food projects being implemented between them.
Cindy McCain praised the center's significant achievements in humanitarian, relief, and developmental fields, as well as its tireless work to assist countries and peoples in need around the world.
