التقى المستشار بالديوان الملكي المشرف العام على مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية الدكتور عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز الربيعة، وزير الدولة للتعاون الدولي بوزارة الخارجية القطرية الدكتورة مريم بنت علي المسند، وذلك على هامش انعقاد الدورة الثمانين للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في نيويورك.
واسِتُعرضت خلال اللقاء مجالات العمل الإنساني المشتركة، وبحث الفرص المتاحة لتطوير الشراكات في ميادين الإغاثة والتعاون الدولي، بما يُسهم في تنسيق المبادرات الإنسانية، وتوسيع نطاق المستفيدين منها.
وأشادت المسند بالدور الريادي الذي تضطلع به المملكة من خلال مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة في دعم الجهود الإنسانية عالميًا، وما يقدمه من مبادرات نوعية كان لها الأثر الملموس في تحسين حياة الفئات الأشد احتياجًا.
The advisor at the Royal Court and the General Supervisor of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, met with the Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mariam bint Ali Al-Misnad, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, common areas of humanitarian work were reviewed, and opportunities to develop partnerships in the fields of relief and international cooperation were discussed, aiming to coordinate humanitarian initiatives and expand the scope of beneficiaries.
Al-Misnad praised the pioneering role played by the Kingdom through the King Salman Center for Relief in supporting humanitarian efforts globally, and the quality initiatives it provides that have had a tangible impact on improving the lives of the most vulnerable groups.
