شارك وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، أمس (الأربعاء)، في الاجتماع الرباعي بشأن السودان الذي ضم دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وجمهورية مصر العربية، والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، على هامش أعمال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الـ80، بمدينة نيويورك الأمريكية.
وتناول الاجتماع تطورات الأزمة السودانية وضرورة توحيد الجهود لتجاوز التحديات الإنسانية، وتنفيذ الالتزامات الواردة في إعلان جدة بشأن حماية المدنيين، وبما يضمن استقرار السودان والحفاظ على سيادته ووحدة وسلامة أراضيه.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated yesterday (Wednesday) in the quadrilateral meeting regarding Sudan, which included the United Arab Emirates, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the United States of America, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.
The meeting addressed the developments of the Sudanese crisis and the necessity of unifying efforts to overcome humanitarian challenges, and implementing the commitments outlined in the Jeddah Declaration regarding the protection of civilians, in a manner that ensures the stability of Sudan and preserves its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
