استقبلت الملحقية الثقافية السعودية في كندا دفعة جديدة ضمن مسار الرواد للعام 2025 / 2026، شملت ابتعاث 201 مبتعث ومبتعثة، بواقع 61 دارسا أكاديميا، و140 طبيبا متدربا في برامج الزمالة والتخصص الدقيق بجامعة تورونتو.
وأوضحت الملحق الثقافي بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا المشرف على دول أمريكا الجنوبية الدكتورة تهاني البيز، في تصريح إلى وكالة الأنباء السعودية، أن جميع المبتعثين الجدد التحقوا بجامعات من بين أفضل 15 جامعة على مستوى العالم، منوهة بأن ذلك يأتي ترجمة للإستراتيجية الجديدة لتطوير برنامج خادم الحرمين الشريفين للابتعاث التي أطلقها ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء رئيس لجنة برنامج تنمية القدرات البشرية الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز في 7 مارس 2022، والتي تهدف إلى رفع عدد الطلبة في أفضل 30 جامعة على مستوى العالم بما يسهم في رفع كفاءة رأس المال البشري وتعزيز تنافسية المواطنين في المجالات الجديدة والواعدة، ويتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وأكدت الدكتورة تهاني البيز، أن هذه الخطوة تمثل إضافة نوعية للمسيرة العلمية للمبتعثين السعوديين، إذ تجمع بين الدراسة الأكاديمية في أفضل الجامعات العالمية والتدريب السريري المتخصص في أحد أبرز المراكز الطبية الرائدة، بما يسهم في تطوير الكفاءات الوطنية ودعم القطاعات الحيوية في المملكة.

The Saudi Cultural Attaché in Canada welcomed a new batch under the Pioneer Pathway for the year 2025 / 2026, which included the scholarship of 201 male and female students, comprising 61 academic scholars and 140 resident doctors in fellowship and subspecialty programs at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Tahani Al-Biz, the cultural attaché for the United States and Canada overseeing South American countries, stated in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency that all new scholarship recipients have joined universities among the top 15 in the world. She noted that this comes as a translation of the new strategy to develop the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program launched by Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Human Capital Development Program, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, on March 7, 2022. The strategy aims to increase the number of students in the top 30 universities worldwide, contributing to enhancing human capital efficiency and boosting the competitiveness of citizens in new and promising fields, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
