رعى أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، حفل تكريم الفائزين بجائزة جامعة الأمير مقرن بن عبدالعزيز للتميز في دورتها السادسة.
وفي مستهل الحفل ألقى رئيس الجامعة الدكتور بندر حجار كلمة تحدث فيها عن دور الجامعة في دعم البيئة المحفزة للإبداع والتميز، مشيرا إلى أن الجائزة تمثل أداة فاعلة لترسيخ قيم الابتكار والمسؤولية المجتمعية وتعزيز روح المنافسة بين منسوبي الجامعة.
ورفع الدكتور حجار الشكر والعرفان لمؤسس الجامعة ورئيسها الفخري الأمير مقرن بن عبدالعزيز، داعيا الله أن يبارك في وقته وجهده وماله، كما ثمّن دعم الأمير سلمان بن سلطان لبرنامج المنح الدراسية المخصص للطلاب الأيتام وذوي الدخل المحدود، بما يتيح لهم مواصلة تعليمهم الجامعي وبناء مستقبلهم.
وأوضح رئيس الجامعة أن الجائزة جاءت تكريما للطلاب المتفوقين علميا، والباحثين المبدعين الذين قدّموا حلولا عملية للتحديات البيئية والمجتمعية، إضافة إلى الشباب والشابات الذين حوّلوا أفكارهم إلى مشاريع ريادية، وكذلك القيادات وفرق العمل والخريجين الذين أسهموا في رفع مستوى مؤسساتهم وتمثيل الجامعة محليا ودوليا.
كما أعلن الدكتور حجار إطلاق «جائزة عبدالله صالح كامل للخدمة المجتمعية»؛ بهدف تشجيع المبادرات ذات الأثر الإيجابي وتعزيز مفهوم المسؤولية الاجتماعية، موجها شكره لرعاة الحفل والداعمين للجوائز وهم؛ حسين أسامة جليدان، المهندس قيس عبدالعزيز بن سلمان السليمان، الدكتور غسان عبدالله دحلان، عبدالله صالح كامل.
وتخلل الحفل عرض تعريفي عن الجائزة، أعقبته كلمة للفائزين ألقتها الدكتورة سناء عسكول، عبّرت فيها عن الامتنان للقيادة الرشيدة على دعمها المتواصل للعلم والتعليم، مشيرة إلى أن ما تحقق من إنجاز هو ثمرة العمل الجماعي في خدمة رسالة الجامعة.
وفي ختام الحفل، كرّم أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الفائزين بعدد من الجوائز النوعية، شملت جائزة الأمير فيصل بن سلمان للتفوق العلمي، وجائزة الأمير منصور بن مقرن -رحمه الله- للكادر المتميز، وجائزة إبراهيم جليدان -رحمه الله- للقيادي المثالي، وجائزة حسين السيد -رحمه الله- للبحث العلمي والابتكار، إضافة إلى جائزة الدكتور غسان السليمان للإبداع وريادة الأعمال، وجائزة الدكتور عبدالله دحلان للبحث العلمي والابتكار في المجال البيئي، وجائزة عبدالله صالح كامل للخريجين المبدعين.
واختُتم الحفل بالتقاط الصور التذكارية مع الفائزين؛ تقديرا لإنجازاتهم وإسهاماتهم في رفع مستوى الجامعة وخدمة المجتمع.
The Prince of the Medina Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, sponsored the ceremony honoring the winners of the Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University Excellence Award in its sixth edition.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the university president, Dr. Bandar Hajar, delivered a speech in which he talked about the university's role in supporting an environment conducive to creativity and excellence, noting that the award represents an effective tool for instilling values of innovation and social responsibility and enhancing the spirit of competition among the university's staff.
Dr. Hajar expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the founder of the university and its honorary president, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, praying that God bless his time, effort, and wealth. He also valued Prince Salman bin Sultan's support for the scholarship program dedicated to orphaned students and those with limited income, enabling them to continue their university education and build their future.
The university president clarified that the award was established to honor academically outstanding students and innovative researchers who have provided practical solutions to environmental and societal challenges, in addition to the young men and women who have turned their ideas into entrepreneurial projects, as well as the leaders, teams, and graduates who contributed to raising the level of their institutions and representing the university locally and internationally.
Dr. Hajar also announced the launch of the "Abdullah Saleh Kamel Award for Community Service" aimed at encouraging initiatives with a positive impact and enhancing the concept of social responsibility, directing his thanks to the sponsors of the ceremony and the supporters of the awards: Hussein Osama Jlaydan, Engineer Qais Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Sulaiman, Dr. Ghassan Abdullah Dahlan, and Abdullah Saleh Kamel.
The ceremony included an introductory presentation about the award, followed by a speech from the winners delivered by Dr. Sana'a Askoul, in which she expressed gratitude to the wise leadership for its continuous support for science and education, pointing out that the achievements realized are the result of collective work in serving the university's mission.
At the end of the ceremony, the Prince of the Medina Region honored the winners with several prestigious awards, including the Prince Faisal bin Salman Award for Academic Excellence, the Prince Mansour bin Muqrin Award for Distinguished Staff, the Ibrahim Jlaydan Award for Ideal Leadership, the Hussein Al-Sayed Award for Scientific Research and Innovation, in addition to the Dr. Ghassan Al-Sulaiman Award for Creativity and Entrepreneurship, the Dr. Abdullah Dahlan Award for Scientific Research and Innovation in the Environmental Field, and the Abdullah Saleh Kamel Award for Creative Graduates.
The ceremony concluded with commemorative photos with the winners, in appreciation of their achievements and contributions to elevating the university's status and serving the community.
