وفرت وزارة الصحة لقاح الإنفلونزا الموسمية وبدأ تقديمه من خلال حجز موعد في تطبيق «صحتي»، عبر خدمة «لقاح الإنفلونزا الموسمية». وأكدت الصحة، أن اللقاح أثبت قدرته على تقليل شدة الإصابات، وخفض الحاجة إلى العناية المركزة، والوفيات المرتبطة بالإنفلونزا الموسمية.
وأوضحت الوزارة، أن الفئات الأكثر عرضةً للمضاعفات تشمل المصابين بالأمراض المزمنة، ومن يتناولون أدوية تضعف المناعة، والأشخاص فوق 50 عاماً، والأطفال من (6 أشهر- 5 سنوات)، والحوامل، إضافة إلى المصابين بالسمنة المفرطة والعاملين في القطاع الصحي.
وبيّنت، أن إحصاءات العام الماضي أظهرت أن 96% من المنومين في العناية المركزة لم يتلقوا اللقاح، ما يؤكد فاعلية اللقاح في الحماية والوقاية.
يشار إلى أن الحملة السنوية للتحصين ضد الإنفلونزا الموسمية تأتي تعزيزاً للصحة الوقائية، وتحقيقاً لمستهدفات برنامج تحول القطاع الصحي الذي يرتكز على تعزيز الوقاية ورفع جودة الحياة، وتوفير الخدمات الصحية واللقاحات اللازمة بما يسهم في حماية الصحة العامة.

The Ministry of Health has provided the seasonal flu vaccine and started offering it through appointment booking in the "My Health" app, via the "Seasonal Flu Vaccine" service. The Ministry confirmed that the vaccine has proven its ability to reduce the severity of infections, decrease the need for intensive care, and lower the mortality associated with seasonal flu.
The ministry clarified that the groups most at risk for complications include those with chronic diseases, individuals taking immunosuppressive medications, people over 50 years old, children aged 6 months to 5 years, pregnant women, as well as those with obesity and workers in the healthcare sector.
It was noted that statistics from last year showed that 96% of those admitted to intensive care had not received the vaccine, which confirms the vaccine's effectiveness in protection and prevention.
It is worth mentioning that the annual vaccination campaign against seasonal flu comes as an enhancement of preventive health, achieving the targets of the health sector transformation program that focuses on promoting prevention, improving quality of life, and providing necessary health services and vaccines that contribute to protecting public health.
