خيّم الحزن على الوسط الأدبي والاجتماعي بعد أن فُجع الشاعر معجب الشهراني بوفاة اثنين من أبنائه؛ محمد وحسن، إضافة إلى ابن خالتهما، في حادث مروري مروع، إثر اصطدام مركبتهم بشاحنة بمحافظة خميس مشيط، ما أدى إلى وفاتهم جميعاً في الحال، فيما كان يرافقهم خالهما الذي أصيب بعدة إصابات متفرقة، ولا يزال يتلقى الرعاية في المستشفى.

وفي حديث مؤثر.. عبّر والد الفقيدين عن صبره واحتسابه قائلاً: «إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون، الحمد لله على قضائه وقدره، والله إنه اختبار من الله». وأضاف أنه حين كان في استراحة مع زملائه تلقى اتصالاً من أحد أقاربه، شعر خلاله أن هناك أمراً غير طبيعي، ليُفاجأ بخبر وفاة ابنه محمد، وما هي إلا دقائق حتى بُلّغ أن ابنه الآخر حسن قد توفي معه، مؤكداً أنه لم يملك حينها سوى ترديد: «لا إله إلا الله، إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون».

ولم تكن هذه الفاجعة الأولى التي ألمّت بالشاعر الشهراني، إذ سبق أن فقد ابنه الأكبر هادي قبل سنوات في حادث مروري أليم، حين أصر على السفر إلى الرياض برفقة صديقه مهند رغم محاولة والده ثنيه عن ذلك، وبعد أن ودّعه والده وسلّمه مبلغاً من المال قائلاً «استودعتك الله»، لم تمضِ ساعات حتى بلغه خبر الحادث الذي أودى بحياة هادي وصديقه مهند، رحمهما الله، ومعهما صديقهما الثالث الذي فارق الحياة هو الآخر.
وقد حضر لتقديم العزاء محافظ خميس مشيط خالد آل مشيط وشيخ شمل شهران الشيخ سعيد بن حسين آل مشيط، بناءً على توجيه من أمير منطقة عسير الأمير تركي بن طلال، كما شارك عدد من شيوخ القبائل والأعيان والرموز بالمنطقة في تقديم واجب العزاء.

وأعرب شيخ بني واهب الشيخ محمد بن هيف الفويه عن شكره وتقديره لأمير المنطقة على مواساته ووقوفه مع الأسرة في هذا المصاب، فيما أكد سعيد بن محمد الصوع خال الأبناء المتوفين أن هذه الفاجعة آلمت الجميع، مقدماً شكره للأمير والمحافظ وكل من شارك الأسرة في عزائها.

ومن جانبه، قال الشاعر المعروف فهد الشهراني الذي حضر العزاء لـ«عكاظ» إنه تألّم كثيراً لهذه الفاجعة الأليمة، داعياً الله أن يربط على قلب صديقه الشاعر معجب الشهراني، وأن يُلهمه ووالدة أبنائه الصبر والسلوان.
وهكذا تتجدّد أحزان الشهراني اليوم بفقده ثلاثة من فلذات كبده وابن خالتهم في حوادث متفرقة، لتقف كلماته شاهدة على صبره وإيمانه: «الحمد لله على كل حال».
Sadness has overshadowed the literary and social community after the poet Mujahed Al-Shahrani was devastated by the death of two of his sons; Mohammed and Hassan, in addition to their cousin, in a horrific traffic accident, after their vehicle collided with a truck in the province of Khamis Mushait, which led to their immediate deaths, while their uncle, who was accompanying them, sustained several injuries and is still receiving care in the hospital.

In an emotional conversation, the father of the deceased expressed his patience and acceptance, saying: "Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we shall return. Praise be to Allah for His decree and destiny, and by Allah, it is a test from Allah." He added that while he was at a gathering with his colleagues, he received a call from one of his relatives, during which he felt that something was wrong, only to be shocked by the news of his son Mohammed's death. Just minutes later, he was informed that his other son Hassan had also died, confirming that at that moment he could only repeat: "There is no deity but Allah, indeed we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we shall return."

This was not the first tragedy that befell the poet Al-Shahrani, as he had previously lost his eldest son Hadi years ago in a painful traffic accident when Hadi insisted on traveling to Riyadh with his friend Muhannad despite his father's attempts to dissuade him. After his father bid him farewell and handed him some money saying, "I entrust you to Allah," just hours later he received the news of the accident that claimed the lives of Hadi and his friend Muhannad, may Allah have mercy on them, along with their third friend who also lost his life.
The governor of Khamis Mushait, Khalid Al-Mushait, and the Sheikh of the Shahran tribe, Sheikh Saeed bin Hussein Al-Mushait, attended to offer condolences, based on the directive of the Emir of the Asir region, Prince Turki bin Talal. Several tribal leaders, dignitaries, and prominent figures from the region also participated in offering their condolences.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Haif Al-Fuwaih of the Bani Wahb tribe expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Emir of the region for his condolences and support for the family in this tragedy, while Saeed bin Mohammed Al-Su'ah, the uncle of the deceased children, confirmed that this tragedy has pained everyone, expressing his thanks to the emir, the governor, and all those who shared their condolences with the family.

For his part, the well-known poet Fahd Al-Shahrani, who attended the condolence gathering, told "Okaz" that he was deeply pained by this tragic incident, praying to Allah to comfort his friend, the poet Mujahed Al-Shahrani, and to inspire him and the mother of his children with patience and solace.
Thus, the sorrows of Al-Shahrani are renewed today with the loss of three of his beloved children and their cousin in separate accidents, with his words standing as a testament to his patience and faith: "Praise be to Allah in every situation."
