أكد نائب مدير عام فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمنطقة عسير، المهندس علي بن سيف القحطاني، في حديثه لـ«عكاظ»، نجاح مهرجان الرمان والمنتجات الزراعية الخامس، الذي اختتم فعالياته اليوم وسط البلدة القديمة بمحافظة سراة عبيدة، بعد خمسة أيام من الأنشطة والبرامج.
وأوضح القحطاني أن حرص واهتمام فرع الوزارة في عسير انعكس إيجابًا على نجاح مختلف الفعاليات والمهرجانات الزراعية، التي تهدف إلى تسويق المنتجات المحلية وزيادة الوعي بأهميتها.
المهرجان، الذي دشنه وكيل محافظ سراة عبيدة ناصر القحطاني، شمل إلى جانب الرمان عددًا من الفواكه الموسمية التي تشتهر بها المحافظة مثل التين والعنب والمشمش، ووزعت عبر 35 ركنًا مخصصًا للعرض. وأسهمت بلدية المحافظة في توفير الموقع ومتطلبات نجاح الحدث، فيما شارك متطوعون في التنظيم ضمن فرص تطوعية، ليحقق المهرجان أهدافه في تسويق المنتجات ودعم استدامتها بما يخدم المستفيدين والمنتجين.
The Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture branch in the Asir region, Engineer Ali bin Saif Al-Qahtani, confirmed in his talk to "Okaz" the success of the fifth Pomegranate and Agricultural Products Festival, which concluded its activities today in the old town of Sarawat Abidah, after five days of activities and programs.
Al-Qahtani explained that the care and attention of the ministry branch in Asir positively reflected on the success of various agricultural events and festivals, which aim to market local products and increase awareness of their importance.
The festival, which was inaugurated by the Deputy Governor of Sarawat Abidah, Nasser Al-Qahtani, included, in addition to pomegranates, a number of seasonal fruits that the province is famous for, such as figs, grapes, and apricots, distributed across 35 designated display corners. The municipality of the province contributed to providing the venue and the requirements for the success of the event, while volunteers participated in the organization as part of volunteer opportunities, enabling the festival to achieve its goals in marketing products and supporting their sustainability to benefit consumers and producers.
