«الأرصاد»: أمطار رعدية على 3 مناطق

The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today (Sunday) that thunderstorms accompanied by hail showers and active winds will affect parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, extending to parts of the highlands of the Makkah region. Meanwhile, active winds stirring up dust and sand will affect the eastern parts of those regions, leading to nearly zero visibility on the coastal road leading to Jazan, as well as on the eastern parts of the Najran region. The maximum temperatures will remain high in the southern parts of the Eastern Province.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea is northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts at a speed of 12 - 35 km/h, and westerly to southwesterly at a speed of 15 - 40 km/h, reaching more than 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part. The wave height will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, exceeding two meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part, while the sea condition will be light to moderate, becoming rough with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part.
Meanwhile, the wind movement over the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 15 - 35 km/h in the northern part, and northeasterly to easterly, shifting to northerly in the evening at a speed of 10 - 25 km/h in the central and southern parts, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern part, and from half a meter to one meter in the central and southern parts.
