Hail is one of the cities that transforms in winter into a different canvas; its rains create temporary lakes, and its floods alter the topography of some valleys, which increases the responsibility on the concerned authorities. The Prince of Hail Region, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, opened the file on preparations and procedures related to the rainy season, flood flows, and water gatherings, during a meeting that included the Deputy Emir, the Director of the Regional Police, the Director of Civil Defense, the Hail Municipality, and the Ministry of Transport, so that each entity is directly accountable to him.

The Prince of Hail emphasized during the meeting the need to raise the readiness of field teams and ensure continuous coordination among all parties, while activating direct communication channels with the community to quickly relay alerts and instructions, confirming that the priority is to protect lives and property above all else.

The meeting reviewed operational plans and preventive measures, in addition to the integrated efforts among government sectors, to ensure a safe environment, and stressed the importance of enhancing the efficiency of rapid response in emergencies and reducing potential risks.
