The General Directorate of Passports clarified through its customer service account on the "X" platform that those who reach the age of 21 years or older according to the Hijri calendar can travel without the need for a travel permit. This was in response to a citizen's inquiry about whether a person who is 21 years old in the Hijri calendar and 20 years old according to the Gregorian calendar can travel without a permit, to which it answered yes.
