تعيش المنطقة الشرقية هذه الأيام على وقع احتفالية زراعية واقتصادية نوعية مع انطلاق النسخة الثانية من معرض «اللومي الحساوي 2025» والذي تنظمه غرفة الأحساء في مركز الأحساء للمعارض، ليؤكد هذا المنتج العريق مكانته كأحد أهم رموز ثراء المنطقة الشرقية الزراعية بعد التمور.

ويمتد إرث «اللومي الحساوي» إلى أكثر من 120 ألف شجرة مثمرة تنتج سنوياً نحو 2000 إلى 2500 طن، بمتوسط إنتاج للشجرة الواحدة يصل إلى 25-30 كجم، ويتميز اللومي بجودته العالية وقدرته على البقاء طازجاً لفترات طويلة دون أن يتغير لونه أو نكهته الفريدة، وهو ما جعله سلعة زراعية تحمل بصمة خاصة للأحساء وتفتح آفاقاً واسعة للصناعات الغذائية والتحويلية.

ويقدّم المعرض للزوار تجربة متكاملة، عبر سوق اللومي والأركان التفاعلية التي تعرض أكثر من 20 منتجاً مبتكراً تشمل المربيات والعصائر والمخللات والتوابل، إلى جانب منتجات غير غذائية مثل العطور والزيوت الطبيعية ومنتجات العناية بالبشرة، كما يتخلل الفعاليات أكثر من 38 ورشة تدريبية، و1000 جلسة استشارية، وبرامج للأطفال، ومعارض للتصوير الضوئي، إضافة إلى تجارب طهي حيّة وجولات سياحية في مزارع اللومي.

وتُبرز هذه الدورة أهمية «اللومي الحساوي» كرافد اقتصادي محلي يعزز مساهمة القطاع الزراعي في الناتج المحلي، ويمثل نموذجاً للاستثمار في الصناعات التحويلية المرتبطة بالمنتجات الزراعية، وهو ما يرسخ مكانة الأحساء كأحد أغنى مناطق المملكة بالموارد الزراعية، إذ تجاوز إنتاجها الزراعي في عام واحد أكثر من 170 ألف طن من الخضروات والفواكه، و126 مليون لتر من الألبان، و100 ألف طن من التمور، بما يسهم في رفع نسب الاكتفاء الذاتي وتعزيز الأمن الغذائي الوطني.
وبذلك، لا يقتصر «اللومي الحساوي» على كونه محصولاً موسمياً، بل أصبح عنواناً للابتكار الزراعي، ورمزاً لمستقبل واعد يجعل من الأحساء وجهة رائدة في استدامة الزراعة وتعظيم القيمة المضافة لثرواتها الطبيعية.

The legacy of "Al-Loumi Al-Hassawi" extends to more than 120,000 fruitful trees that produce annually about 2,000 to 2,500 tons, with an average yield per tree reaching 25-30 kg. Al-Loumi is distinguished by its high quality and its ability to remain fresh for long periods without changing its color or unique flavor, which has made it an agricultural commodity that carries a special mark for Al-Ahsa and opens wide horizons for food and processing industries.

The exhibition offers visitors a comprehensive experience through the Al-Loumi market and interactive corners showcasing more than 20 innovative products, including jams, juices, pickles, and spices, in addition to non-food products such as perfumes, natural oils, and skincare products. The events also include more than 38 training workshops, 1,000 consulting sessions, programs for children, photography exhibitions, as well as live cooking experiences and tours of Al-Loumi farms.

This edition highlights the importance of "Al-Loumi Al-Hassawi" as a local economic contributor that enhances the agricultural sector's contribution to the GDP. It represents a model for investment in processing industries related to agricultural products, solidifying Al-Ahsa's position as one of the richest regions in the Kingdom in agricultural resources. In one year, its agricultural production exceeded 170,000 tons of vegetables and fruits, 126 million liters of milk, and 100,000 tons of dates, contributing to increased self-sufficiency rates and enhancing national food security.
