امتداداً لتوجيهات ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، بتعميق وتطوير الشراكة بين المملكة العربية السعودية والجمهورية العربية السورية، يزور الرياض اليوم (الإثنين) وفد سوري برئاسة وزير الاقتصاد والصناعة السوري الدكتور محمد نضال الشعار، وممثلون من القطاع الخاص من الجانبين، في إطار زيارة رسمية تجسد حرص البلدين الشقيقين على بناء جسور التعاون الاقتصادي وتعزيز التكامل الإقليمي.
وتأتي الزيارة استمراراً لمخرجات المنتدى الاستثماري السعودي-السوري الذي عُقد الشهر الماضي برعاية الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع، بمشاركة أكثر من 100 شركة سعودية و20 جهة حكومية من المملكة، وشملت الاتفاقيات الموقعة 47 مشروعاً استثمارياً في قطاعات حيوية، بإجمالي استثمارات يتجاوز 24 مليار ريال تشمل المجالات العقارية، والبنية التحتية، والمالية، والاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات، والطاقة، والصناعة، والسياحة، والتجارة والاستثمار، والصحة، وغيرها.
وتؤكد هذه الزيارة حرص المملكة واهتمامها بتعزيز الشراكات الاقتصادية مع الدول الشقيقة في المنطقة، بما يعزز دورها الاستثماري العالمي، ويدعم تحقيق مستهدفات التنمية المستدامة، ورؤية المملكة 2030.
Continuing the directives of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to deepen and develop the partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Syrian Arab Republic, a Syrian delegation headed by the Syrian Minister of Economy and Trade, Dr. Mohammad Nidal Al-Shahr, along with representatives from the private sector from both sides, is visiting Riyadh today (Monday) as part of an official visit that embodies the two brotherly countries' commitment to building bridges of economic cooperation and enhancing regional integration.
This visit follows the outcomes of the Saudi-Syrian Investment Forum held last month under the patronage of Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shara, with the participation of more than 100 Saudi companies and 20 governmental entities from the Kingdom. The signed agreements included 47 investment projects in vital sectors, with total investments exceeding 24 billion riyals covering real estate, infrastructure, finance, telecommunications and information technology, energy, industry, tourism, trade and investment, health, and others.
This visit reaffirms the Kingdom's commitment and interest in enhancing economic partnerships with brotherly countries in the region, which strengthens its global investment role and supports the achievement of sustainable development goals and the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
