أطلقت مجموعة نيو للفضاء (NSG) -الشركة الوطنية للفضاء، إحدى شركات صندوق الاستثمارات العامة (PIF) والرائدة عالمياً في خدمات الاتصالات الفضائية وتقنيات الفضاء، منصة الرصد الفضائي للأرض (EO)؛ أول سوق مخصصة لبيانات الرصد الفضائي في السعودية، وتُشغلها UP42، إحدى شركات مجموعة نيو للفضاء (NSG).
وأوضحت «نيو للفضاء»، أن منصة الرصد الفضائي للأرض (EO) ستقدم أحدث تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي والتحليلات، لتمكين المستفيدين من الجهات الحكومية والشركات المحلية والعالمية، من خلال توفير مجموعة واسعة من خيارات بيانات الرصد الفضائي للأرض وصور الأقمار الصناعية عالية الدقة، وغيرها من مجموعات البيانات المهمة، إذ تشكل هذه المنصة مصدراً شاملاً ومبسطاً لدعم مطوري الحلول الرقمية ومقدمي الخدمات المضافة للحصول على بيانات الرصد الفضائي ومجهّزة بالكامل لدعم القطاع الحكومي المحلي في المستقبل القريب.
وتسهم المنصة في النمو والتوسع وتوفير بيانات الرصد الفضائي للأرض التي تخدم عدة تطبيقات في قطاعات رئيسية مختلفة؛ مثل البيئة، والبنية التحتية، والطاقة، والعقارات، والتعدين، والنقل، والخدمات اللوجستية والزراعة، وغيرها من القطاعات الرئيسية، وذلك في إطار مبادرات ومستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وقال الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة نيو للفضاء مارتين بلانكن: «إن إطلاق منصة الرصد الفضائي للأرض (EO) يعكس لسوق بيانات الرصد الفضائي مسار النمو المذهل الذي تشهده المملكة، وتنامي الطلب فيها على بيانات الرصد الفضائي للأرض، إذ تكتسب هذه البيانات أهمية أكبر اليوم من أي وقت مضى، نظراً لدورها المحوري في دعم المبادرات التحولية لرؤية المملكة 2030، في تطوير مشاريع البنية التحتية، وخطط التوسع العمراني، وتحسين أسلوب استثمار الموارد، وفي ضوء المساحة المترامية للمملكة على مساحة تفوق 2.15 مليون كيلومتر مربع، وهي تكاد تناهز مساحة أوروبا الغربية، وأنّ هذه المنصة تشكّل سوقاً وأداة قيّمة لدعم عمليات اتخاذ القرار في مختلف القطاعات».

New Space explained that the Earth Observation (EO) platform will provide the latest artificial intelligence technologies and analytics, enabling beneficiaries from government entities and local and global companies by offering a wide range of Earth observation data options and high-resolution satellite images, among other important datasets. This platform serves as a comprehensive and simplified source to support digital solution developers and value-added service providers in obtaining Earth observation data and is fully equipped to support the local government sector in the near future.
The platform contributes to growth and expansion by providing Earth observation data that serves various applications in different key sectors; such as the environment, infrastructure, energy, real estate, mining, transportation, logistics, agriculture, and other major sectors, within the framework of the initiatives and targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
