سجّلت هيئة المساحة الجيولوجية السعودية عبر محطات الشبكة الوطنية للرصد الزلزالي اليوم، زلزالاً في جنوب البحر الأحمر، يبعد مسافة 150 كم غرب مدينة جازان، وبقدر زلزالي بلغ 4.68 درجة على مقياس ريختر.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم هيئة المساحة الجيولوجية السعودية طارق أبا الخيل، أن هذه الهزة الأرضية حدثت بسبب الفالق والانفتاح الموجود في البحر الأحمر، ولا توجد منها خطورة وهي بعيدة عن الحدود والمحيط السكاني، والوضع آمن ولله الحمد.
The Saudi Geological Survey recorded an earthquake today through the stations of the national seismic monitoring network, located in the southern Red Sea, 150 km west of the city of Jazan, with a magnitude of 4.68 on the Richter scale.
The spokesperson for the Saudi Geological Survey, Tariq Aba Al-Khail, explained that this tremor occurred due to the fault and the opening present in the Red Sea, and it poses no danger as it is far from the borders and populated areas; the situation is safe, thank God.
