عقد وزير الطاقة الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، في الرياض اليوم، اجتماعاً مع وزير الطاقة السوري المهندس محمد البشير.
وناقش الجانبان خلال الاجتماع فُرص التعاون بين البلدين في مختلف مجالات الطاقة، وسبل تعزيزها في مجالات البترول وإمداداته، والكهرباء، والطاقة المتجددة، وكفاءة الطاقة، وفرص الاستثمار، والاستفادة من الخبرات في تطوير المشروعات والسياسات والأنظمة في قطاع الطاقة في المملكة، انطلاقاً من دعم مسيرة التنمية في جمهورية سورية الشقيقة.
وبعد الاجتماع، وقع وزير الطاقة مع الوزير السوري مذكرة تفاهم للتعاون في مجال الطاقة بين حكومتي البلدين تشمل تشجيع التعاون في البترول والغاز، والبتروكيماويات، والكهرباء والربط الكهربائي، والطاقة المتجددة.
The Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, held a meeting today in Riyadh with the Syrian Minister of Energy, Engineer Mohammed Al-Bashir.
During the meeting, both sides discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in various energy sectors, ways to enhance collaboration in oil and its supplies, electricity, renewable energy, energy efficiency, investment opportunities, and benefiting from expertise in developing projects, policies, and regulations in the energy sector in the Kingdom, based on supporting the development journey in the sisterly Republic of Syria.
After the meeting, the Minister of Energy signed a memorandum of understanding with the Syrian minister for cooperation in the field of energy between the governments of the two countries, which includes encouraging collaboration in oil and gas, petrochemicals, electricity and electrical interconnection, and renewable energy.
