أضافت الهيئة العامة للموانئ (موانئ) خدمة الشحن الجديدة «BOS»، التابعة لشركة «BLUE OCEAN»، إلى ميناء جدة الإسلامي، ما يسهم في تعزيز تنافسية موانئ المملكة، وتوسيع شبكة خدماتها البحرية، ودعم كفاءتها التشغيلية، وتأكيد مكانة المملكة الرائدة في قطاع الموانئ، والقطاع البحري، إضافة إلى دعم الصادرات الوطنية.
وتعمل خدمة الشحن الجديدة على تعزيز ربط ميناء جدة الإسلامي بموانئ الصين من خلال 3 موانئ عالمية، تشمل تشينغداو، ونينغبو، ونانشا، بطاقة استيعابية تصل إلى 2,300 حاوية قياسية.
ويأتي ذلك ضمن جهود «موانئ» لتعزيز تصنيف المملكة في مؤشرات الأداء العالمية، بما يدعم حركة الصادرات الوطنية، تماشياً مع مستهدفات الإستراتيجية الوطنية للنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، بترسيخ مكانة المملكة مركزاً لوجستياً عالمياً، ومحور ربط القارات الثلاث.
يُذكر أن ميناء جدة الإسلامي يعد أكبر ميناء محوري في المنطقة، وأكبر موانئ ساحل البحر الأحمر في التجارة البحرية العابرة ومسافنة الحاويات والبضائع، إذ تمر عبره (65%) من التجارة البحرية والمسافنة الواردة عبر موانئ المملكة، وتبلغ مساحته (12) كيلومتراً، وعدد أرصفته (62) رصيفاً، متعددة الأغراض، وبطاقة استيعابية تصل إلى (130) مليون طن.
The General Authority for Ports (Mawani) has added the new shipping service "BOS," operated by "BLUE OCEAN," to the Islamic Port of Jeddah, which contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of the Kingdom's ports, expanding its maritime service network, supporting its operational efficiency, and affirming the Kingdom's leading position in the ports and maritime sectors, in addition to supporting national exports.
The new shipping service works to strengthen the connection between the Islamic Port of Jeddah and ports in China through 3 global ports, including Qingdao, Ningbo, and Nansha, with a capacity of up to 2,300 standard containers.
This initiative is part of Mawani's efforts to enhance the Kingdom's ranking in global performance indicators, supporting the movement of national exports, in line with the objectives of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, which aims to establish the Kingdom as a global logistics hub and a link between the three continents.
It is worth noting that the Islamic Port of Jeddah is the largest hub port in the region and the largest port on the Red Sea coast for transshipment and container and cargo handling, as it accounts for (65%) of the maritime trade and transshipment entering through the Kingdom's ports. It spans (12) kilometers, has (62) multi-purpose berths, and a capacity of up to (130) million tons.
