دشن محافظ الطائف الأمير سعود بن نهار بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز، خلال استقباله وزير السياحة أحمد بن عقيل الخطيب، ونائبته الأميرة هيفاء بنت محمد، وعدداً من مسؤولي الوزارة، فعاليات «صيف الطائف 2025»، خلال زيارتهم المحافظة ضمن برنامج «صيف السعودية».
وثمّن محافظ الطائف ووزير السياحة في مستهل اللقاء ما تقدمه حكومة خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي العهد من دعمٍ لا محدودٍ للقطاعات والجهات كافة من أجل الارتقاء بالخدمات في كل مناطق ومحافظات المملكة، ودعمها المتواصل للنهوض بقطاع السياحة الواعد.
وأوضح وزير السياحة أن الزيارة تأتي في إطار برنامج «صيف السعودية» الذي يهدف لتطوير الوجهات السياحية الصيفية في المملكة، إضافة لإثراء تجربة السائح والارتقاء بالخدمات المقدمة، مشيراً إلى الإمكانات الكبيرة التي تتمتع بها محافظة الطائف، كأحد أهم الوجهات السياحية البارزة في المملكة.
من جانبه، أشاد محافظ الطائف بالجهود التي تبذلها منظومة السياحة لتطوير القطاع السياحي في المملكة، مؤكداً استعداد المحافظة للتعاون والتنسيق مع الوزارة، من أجل استغلال الإمكانات الكبيرة التي تحظى بها المدينة، وحرصه على تعزيز العمل المشترك من أجل فتح المجال أمام الاستثمارات في قطاع السياحة، والاستفادة من المواقع السياحية المتعددة التي تحتضنها المحافظة، والعمل على تذليل العقبات التي تعيق تطور القطاع السياحي بالطائف، منوهاً بجهود وزارة السياحة لتمكين أبناء وبنات الوطن في القطاع السياحي.
The Governor of Taif, Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated the activities of "Taif Summer 2025" during his reception of the Minister of Tourism, Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb, and his deputy, Princess Haifa bint Mohammed, along with a number of ministry officials, during their visit to the province as part of the "Summer of Saudi Arabia" program.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Governor of Taif and the Minister of Tourism appreciated the unlimited support provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince to all sectors and entities in order to enhance services in all regions and provinces of the Kingdom, as well as their continuous support for the promising tourism sector.
The Minister of Tourism explained that the visit comes within the framework of the "Summer of Saudi Arabia" program, which aims to develop summer tourist destinations in the Kingdom, in addition to enriching the tourist experience and improving the services provided, pointing to the significant potential that the province of Taif possesses as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Kingdom.
For his part, the Governor of Taif praised the efforts made by the tourism system to develop the tourism sector in the Kingdom, affirming the province's readiness to cooperate and coordinate with the ministry in order to exploit the great potential that the city enjoys, and his keenness to enhance joint work to open the door for investments in the tourism sector, benefit from the multiple tourist sites that the province hosts, and work to overcome the obstacles hindering the development of the tourism sector in Taif, while highlighting the efforts of the Ministry of Tourism to empower the sons and daughters of the nation in the tourism sector.
