إلغاء «مراسلات».. وإنشاء منصة جديدة للمراسلات الحكومية

The Council of Ministers has decided to suspend the "Murasalat" platform and close it permanently, and to establish and develop the "National Platform for Government Correspondence," in a move aimed at modernizing the system for exchanging correspondence and documents between government entities.

The decision came at the request of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Digital Government Authority, to suspend the "Murasalat" platform and close it definitively, and to create and develop the new national platform.

The Council of Ministers' decision, published in the official gazette "Um Al-Qura" yesterday (Friday), included the cancellation of paragraph (3) of item (First) of Council of Ministers Decision No. (456) dated 30/6/1446 AH.

The "Murasalat" platform is one of the platforms established and supervised by the e-Government Program "Yesser," and it is linked to dozens of government entities, allowing for the exchange of documents and correspondence and tracking them between entities, in addition to storing and retrieving them electronically.

The platform has contributed to accelerating the exchange of government correspondence, developing the electronic work environment, and enhancing the security level of transactions, prior to the decision to close it and establish the "National Platform for Government Correspondence" as a replacement.
