إنفاذاً لتوجيهات وزير الدفاع الأمير خالد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، أجرى فريق طبي متخصص من مركز الأمير سلطان لمعالجة أمراض وجراحة القلب للقوات المسلحة، عملية جراحية دقيقة لطفلة سودانية تبلغ من العمر سنة وثلاثة أشهر، كانت تعاني من حالة قلبية نادرة وخطيرة.
ونجح الفريق الطبي بقيادة المدير التنفيذي للمركز الدكتور محمد بن مناحي الأكلبي في التعامل مع حالة الطفلة «جوري» التي تُعد من أندر الحالات المسجّلة عالميًا، تمثّلت في تشوّهات خلقية شديدة، شملت عدم تخلق الوريد والشرايين الرئوية، مع وجود روافد شريانية متعددة وثقوب في القلب.
وأُجريت العملية في مرحلة واحدة، تضمنت ثلاثة تدخلات دقيقة، ما يُعد إنجازًا طبيًا فريدًا يعكس كفاءة الفريق، ويُسجَّل ضمن الحالات النادرة على مستوى العالم.
وأكد قائد الفريق الطبي الأستاذ الدكتور محمد الأكلبي أن العملية تكللت بالنجاح بفضل الله، مشيرًا إلى أن الطفلة غادرت المستشفى بعد أسبوع من التدخل الجراحي وهي في حالة صحية مستقرة ودون أي مضاعفات.
من جانبه، أعرب والد الطفلة أحمد السيد أحمد عن بالغ شكره وامتنانه لوزير الدفاع الأمير خالد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز على هذه اللفتة الإنسانية، مشيدًا بالرعاية الطبية التي حظيت بها طفلته في مركز الأمير سلطان لمعالجة أمراض وجراحة القلب للقوات المسلحة.
ويُجسّد هذا الإنجاز الطبي ريادة مركز الأمير سلطان وكفاءته العالية في إجراء الجراحات القلبية المعقدة، كما يعكس التزام المملكة برسالتها الإنسانية في تقديم الرعاية الصحية المتقدمة داخل المملكة وخارجها.
In implementation of the directives of the Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, a specialized medical team from the Prince Sultan Center for Heart Diseases and Surgery for the Armed Forces performed a delicate surgical operation on a Sudanese girl aged one year and three months, who was suffering from a rare and serious heart condition.
The medical team, led by the executive director of the center, Dr. Mohammed bin Manahi Al-Aklabi, successfully dealt with the case of the girl "Jouri," which is considered one of the rarest cases recorded globally, characterized by severe congenital deformities, including the absence of the pulmonary vein and arteries, along with multiple arterial branches and holes in the heart.
The operation was performed in a single stage, involving three precise interventions, which is considered a unique medical achievement reflecting the team's efficiency and is recorded among the rare cases worldwide.
The leader of the medical team, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Aklabi, confirmed that the operation was successful thanks to God, noting that the girl left the hospital a week after the surgical intervention in stable health without any complications.
For his part, the girl's father, Ahmed Al-Sayed Ahmed, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, for this humanitarian gesture, praising the medical care his daughter received at the Prince Sultan Center for Heart Diseases and Surgery for the Armed Forces.
This medical achievement embodies the leadership and high efficiency of the Prince Sultan Center in performing complex heart surgeries, and it reflects the Kingdom's commitment to its humanitarian message in providing advanced healthcare both within and outside the Kingdom.
