شهدت العاصمة الألبانية تيرانا، خلال الفترة من 12 إلى 14 محرم 1447هـ الموافق 7 إلى 9 يوليو 2025، انعقاد ملتقى خريجي الجامعات السعودية من دول البلقان، في فعالية علمية وثقافية كبرى نظمتها جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية، برعاية كريمة من وزارة التعليم، وبمشاركة جامعتي أم القرى والجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة، وحضور نخبة من العلماء والأكاديميين من ألبانيا، كوسوفا، البوسنة، مقدونيا الشمالية، صربيا، الجبل الأسود، بلغاريا، واليونان.
الملتقى الذي جمع العشرات من خريجي الجامعات السعودية، أكد عمق العلاقات العلمية والثقافية بين المملكة العربية السعودية ودول البلقان، وأبرز الدور المحوري الذي يضطلع به هؤلاء الخريجون في مجتمعاتهم، بما يحملونه من قيم إسلامية وسطية، ورؤية حضارية إنسانية اكتسبوها في رحاب التعليم العالي السعودي.
وتمحورت جلسات الملتقى حول عدد من القضايا الرئيسية، من أبرزها: تصحيح الصورة الذهنية عن الإسلام، وتعزيز الخطاب المعتدل، ودعم تعليم اللغة العربية، واستعراض التجربة السعودية في مكافحة التطرف، إضافة إلى مناقشة آليات تمكين خريجي الجامعات السعودية في خدمة مجتمعاتهم علميًا وفكريًا.
وفي هذا السياق، عبّر الشيخ نصرت رمضان، أحد خريجي الجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة من جمهورية مقدونيا الشمالية، عن تقديره العميق للقيادة السعودية، مثنيًا على الدعم الكبير الذي تقدمه المملكة لمسيرة التعليم في دول البلقان، مؤكدا أن الخريجين باتوا اليوم يمثلون جسورًا للسلام والتواصل الحضاري في أوروبا.
وقد ألقى رئيس الجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة د. صالح بن علي العقلا، كلمة وجّه فيها الخريجين إلى التمسك بأدب الحوار والاعتدال، قائلًا: «أوصيكم بطاعة ولاة أموركم وعلمائكم، فهما عنوان الأمان وسر الوحدة، كونوا على أدب عند الاختلاف، وسعة صدر تجاه الآخر، فأنتم أبناء رسالة الإسلام الوسطي المعتدل المتسامح». 
واختتم الملتقى بعدد من التوصيات الداعية إلى تعزيز الشراكات الثقافية والتعليمية بين المملكة ودول البلقان، وتفعيل برامج البحوث العلمية حول واقع المسلمين في أوروبا، بما يسهم في مدّ جسور التفاهم والتعاون في مواجهة تحديات العصر.
ويؤكد منظمو الملتقى أن مخرجات التعليم السعودي أثبتت حضورها الفاعل في الساحات الأوروبية، وأن هؤلاء الخريجين هم اليوم سفراء الاعتدال، وحملة للرسالة الحضارية من تيرانا إلى العالم.
The Albanian capital, Tirana, hosted the gathering of Saudi university graduates from the Balkan countries from the 12th to the 14th of Muharram 1447 AH, corresponding to July 7 to 9, 2025. This major scientific and cultural event was organized by Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, under the generous patronage of the Ministry of Education, with the participation of Umm Al-Qura University and the Islamic University of Madinah, and the presence of a select group of scholars and academics from Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia, North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, and Greece.
The gathering, which brought together dozens of Saudi university graduates, affirmed the depth of scientific and cultural relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Balkan countries, highlighting the pivotal role these graduates play in their communities, carrying with them moderate Islamic values and a human civilizational vision they acquired in the realm of Saudi higher education.
The sessions of the gathering focused on several key issues, most notably: correcting the mental image of Islam, promoting moderate discourse, supporting Arabic language education, showcasing the Saudi experience in combating extremism, in addition to discussing mechanisms to empower Saudi university graduates to serve their communities intellectually and academically.
In this context, Sheikh Nasrat Ramadan, a graduate of the Islamic University of Madinah from the Republic of North Macedonia, expressed his deep appreciation for the Saudi leadership, praising the significant support the Kingdom provides to the educational journey in the Balkan countries, affirming that graduates today represent bridges of peace and cultural communication in Europe.
The President of the Islamic University of Madinah, Dr. Saleh bin Ali Al-Aqla, delivered a speech in which he urged the graduates to adhere to the etiquette of dialogue and moderation, saying: “I advise you to obey your leaders and scholars, for they are the hallmark of security and the secret of unity. Be courteous in disagreement and open-hearted towards others, for you are the children of the message of moderate, tolerant Islam.”
The gathering concluded with a number of recommendations calling for the enhancement of cultural and educational partnerships between the Kingdom and the Balkan countries, and activating scientific research programs concerning the reality of Muslims in Europe, contributing to building bridges of understanding and cooperation in facing the challenges of the age.
The organizers of the gathering affirm that the outcomes of Saudi education have proven their effective presence in European arenas, and that these graduates are today ambassadors of moderation and bearers of the civilizational message from Tirana to the world.
