ارتفع معدل إشغال الغرف في الفنادق خلال الربع الأول من (2025م)، (2.1) نقطة مئوية عن الربع المماثل من (2024)، ليبلغ ما يقارب (63%)، فيما بلغ معدل إشغال الغرف في الشقق المخدومة ومرافق الضيافة الأخرى في الربع نفسه ما مقداره (50.7%) بانخفاض قدره (3.8) نقاط مئوية عن الربع المناظر من عام (2024).
وبحسب نشرة إحصاءات المنشآت السياحية للربع الأول من 2025 الصادرة من الهيئة العامة للإحصاء، فإن متوسط السعر اليومي للغرفة في الفنادق بلغ ما يقارب (477) ريالًا سعوديًّا بنسبة انخفاض عن الربع الأول من العام الماضي قدرها (3.4%)، كما سجل متوسط السعر اليومي للغرفة في الشقق المخدومة ومرافق الضيافة الأخرى نحو (209) ريالات خلال الربع ذاته، بنسبة ارتفاع بلغت (7.2%) بالمقارنة مع الفترة نفسها في العام الماضي.
وأفادت النتائج بأن متوسط مدة إقامة النزيل في الفنادق بلغ (4.1) ليلة خلال الربع الأول من عام (2025)، وهو المتوسط نفسه في الربع المماثل من (2024)، وسجل متوسط مدة إقامة النزيل في الشقق المخدومة ومرافق الضيافة الأخرى نحو (2.1) ليلة خلال ذات الربع، بنسبة انخفاض بلغت (4.5%) عنه في الربع المماثل من عام (2024).
وبحسب النشرة، فقد ارتفع إجمالي عدد المشتغلين في الأنشطة السياحية خلال هذا الربع عن الربع المماثل من (2024) ليبلغ (983,253) مشتغلًا بنسبة ارتفاع بلغت (4.1%)، فيما بلغ عدد المشتغلين السعوديين (243,369) مشتغلًا، بنسبة مشاركة قدرها (24.8%) من الإجمالي، بينما بلغ عدد المشتغلين غير السعوديين (739,884) مشتغلًا بنسبة مشاركة قدرها (75.2%) من إجمالي المشتغلين في الأنشطة السياحية.
وأظهرت كذلك أن عدد المشتغلين الذكور في الأنشطة السياحية (853,852) مشتغلًا بنسبة مشاركة تعادل (86.8%) من الإجمالي، وبلغ عدد الإناث المشتغلات في الأنشطة السياحية (129,401) مشتغلةً بنسبة مشاركة قدرها (13.2%) من إجمالي المشتغلين في الأنشطة السياحية خلال الربع الأول من (2025).
وبينت نتائج النشرة أن نسبة المشتغلين في الأنشطة السياحية بلغت (5.4%) من إجمالي المشتغلين في الاقتصاد خلال الربع الأول من عام (2025)، بانخفاض قدره (0.3) نقطة مئوية عن الربع المماثل من عام (2024)، كما بلغت نسبة المشتغلين في الأنشطة السياحية (8.1%) من إجمالي المشتغلين في القطاع الخاص، بانخفاض قدره (0.6) نقطة مئوية عن الربع الأول من (2024).
يذكر أن بيانات إحصاءات المنشآت السياحية للربع الأول من (2025) تستند إلى عدة مصادر لتوفير معلومات شاملة عن الأنشطة السياحية في المملكة العربية السعودية، وتشمل هذه المصادر بيانات السجلات الإدارية، والمسوح الإحصائية، والبيانات الثانوية.
The room occupancy rate in hotels increased during the first quarter of 2025 by (2.1) percentage points compared to the same quarter of 2024, reaching approximately (63%). Meanwhile, the room occupancy rate in serviced apartments and other hospitality facilities in the same quarter was (50.7%), a decrease of (3.8) percentage points compared to the corresponding quarter of 2024.
According to the Tourism Establishments Statistics Bulletin for the first quarter of 2025 issued by the General Authority for Statistics, the average daily room rate in hotels reached approximately (477) Saudi Riyals, reflecting a decrease of (3.4%) compared to the first quarter of last year. Additionally, the average daily room rate in serviced apartments and other hospitality facilities was around (209) Riyals during the same quarter, representing an increase of (7.2%) compared to the same period last year.
The results indicated that the average length of stay for guests in hotels was (4.1) nights during the first quarter of 2025, which is the same average as in the corresponding quarter of 2024. The average length of stay for guests in serviced apartments and other hospitality facilities was about (2.1) nights during the same quarter, reflecting a decrease of (4.5%) compared to the same quarter of 2024.
According to the bulletin, the total number of employees in tourism activities during this quarter increased compared to the same quarter of 2024, reaching (983,253) employees, an increase of (4.1%). The number of Saudi employees was (243,369), representing a participation rate of (24.8%) of the total, while the number of non-Saudi employees was (739,884), representing a participation rate of (75.2%) of the total employees in tourism activities.
It also showed that the number of male employees in tourism activities was (853,852), representing a participation rate of (86.8%) of the total, while the number of female employees in tourism activities was (129,401), representing a participation rate of (13.2%) of the total employees in tourism activities during the first quarter of 2025.
The bulletin's results indicated that the percentage of employees in tourism activities reached (5.4%) of the total employees in the economy during the first quarter of 2025, a decrease of (0.3) percentage points compared to the same quarter of 2024. The percentage of employees in tourism activities was (8.1%) of the total employees in the private sector, a decrease of (0.6) percentage points compared to the first quarter of 2024.
