The delegation of members of the Shura Council met with the members of the Saudi-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the council, chaired by council member and committee head Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Qanass, and the President of the Turkish Parliament, Numan Kurtulmuş, at the parliament headquarters in the capital, Ankara.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Parliament welcomed the Shura Council delegation, praising the Kingdom's pioneering efforts in establishing the principles of international peace and security, and supporting stability in the region and the world.

During the meeting, the parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Turkish Parliament were reviewed, along with ways to develop them, contributing to the enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to discussing several topics of mutual interest.

The Shura Council delegation attended part of the general session of the Turkish Parliament during their visit, along with a tour of its corridors.

The council delegation included members of the Saudi-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Shura Council: Zaheer Al-Shahri, Dr. Salem Al-Jarbou, Dr. Aisha Arishi, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Jalaoud, Dr. Fares Al-Asimi, and Dr. Hisham Al-Faris.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Turkey, Fahd bin Asaad Abulnasr.
