نظمت أكاديمية هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك بالتعاون مع منظمة الجمارك العالمية ورشة عمل إقليمية حول مكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب، وذلك في إطار مشروع (تينتاكل) (TENTACLE) الذي تعمل عليه منظمة الجمارك العالمية بالتعاون مع عدة شركاء دوليين، حيث شارك في الورشة 57 ممثلًا من الإدارات الجمركية في دول الإقليم، إضافةً إلى ممثلين من جهات حكومية معنية مثل وحدة التحريات المالية، الإنتربول، وهيئة الاتحاد الجمركي، كما ضمت الورشة مشاركة ممثلين من البنك المركزي السعودي ورئاسة أمن الدولة.
وتركز ورشة العمل على تدريب المشاركين على تقنيات الكشف والتحقيق المتقدمة، وتعزيز القدرات التشغيلية لمكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب، وتحليل البيانات والنتائج، واستعراض التحديات وأفضل الممارسات، إلى جانب تقديم توصيات إستراتيجية لتعزيز التعاون بين القطاعات الحكومية في هذا المجال.
وتأتي هذه الورشة امتدادًا لجهود الهيئة وشركائها في تطوير قدرات كوادرها وتعزيز التكامل مع الجهات ذات العلاقة، من خلال تبني أفضل الممارسات في هذا المجال، وبما يُسهم في حماية الاقتصاد الوطني.
The Academy of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority organized a regional workshop on combating money laundering and terrorist financing in collaboration with the World Customs Organization, as part of the TENTACLE project that the World Customs Organization is working on with several international partners. The workshop was attended by 57 representatives from customs administrations in the region, in addition to representatives from relevant government agencies such as the Financial Intelligence Unit, Interpol, and the Customs Union Authority. The workshop also included participation from representatives of the Saudi Central Bank and the Presidency of State Security.
The workshop focused on training participants in advanced detection and investigation techniques, enhancing operational capabilities to combat money laundering and terrorist financing, analyzing data and results, reviewing challenges and best practices, as well as providing strategic recommendations to enhance cooperation among government sectors in this area.
This workshop is an extension of the Authority's efforts and its partners in developing the capabilities of its personnel and enhancing integration with relevant entities, by adopting best practices in this field, contributing to the protection of the national economy.
