اختتمت فعاليات المؤتمر العلمي الثاني لجمعية التوعية بأضرار المخدرات بجازان تحت شعار «معاً نحو الوقاية والعلاج»، الذي حظي بمشاركة واسعة من جميع الجهات.
وجاء المؤتمر بالشراكة مع فرع وزارة الصحة بجازان وعدد من الجهات الحكومية والخاصة وغير الربحية بالمنطقة، مسلطاً الضوء على أهمية تضافر الجهود لمكافحة هذه الآفة الخطيرة.
وشهد المؤتمر على مدار يومين جلسات علمية وورش عمل متخصصة، بمشاركة نخبة من الخبراء والأكاديميين والمتخصصين في مجال مكافحة المخدرات وعلاج الإدمان، إضافةً لمعرض مصاحب بمشاركة 22 جهة حكومية وأهلية.
وناقش المشاركون أحدث الاستراتيجيات والأساليب العلمية في الوقاية من المخدرات، وطرق الكشف المبكر، وبرامج العلاج والتأهيل، إضافة إلى دور الأسرة والمجتمع والمؤسسات التعليمية في بناء جيل واعٍ ومحصن.
وأوضح رئيس جمعية التوعية بأضرار المخدرات بجازان الدكتور سطام بن جده أن المؤتمر يمثل خطوة مهمة نحو تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي بمخاطر المخدرات، وخرج بعدة توصيات ستشكل خارطة طريق للعمل المستقبلي، مؤكداً على أهمية استمرار التعاون بين كافة الجهات المعنية لتحقيق الأهداف المنشودة.
وأشار إلى أن المؤتمر يجسد حرص جمعية التوعية بأضرار المخدرات بمنطقة جازان والجهات الشريكة على التصدي لآفة المخدرات بأسس علمية ومنهجية، سعياً لبناء مجتمع خالٍ من المخدرات ينعم بالصحة والسلامة.
The second scientific conference of the Drug Awareness Association in Jazan concluded under the slogan "Together Towards Prevention and Treatment," which received wide participation from all sectors.
The conference was held in partnership with the Jazan branch of the Ministry of Health and several governmental, private, and non-profit organizations in the region, highlighting the importance of collective efforts to combat this serious epidemic.
Over the course of two days, the conference featured scientific sessions and specialized workshops, with the participation of a select group of experts, academics, and specialists in the field of drug prevention and addiction treatment, in addition to a concurrent exhibition with the participation of 22 governmental and community organizations.
Participants discussed the latest strategies and scientific methods for drug prevention, early detection methods, treatment and rehabilitation programs, as well as the role of the family, community, and educational institutions in building a conscious and fortified generation.
Dr. Sattam bin Jeddah, the president of the Drug Awareness Association in Jazan, explained that the conference represents an important step towards enhancing community awareness of the dangers of drugs, and it resulted in several recommendations that will form a roadmap for future work, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation among all concerned parties to achieve the desired goals.
He pointed out that the conference embodies the commitment of the Drug Awareness Association in the Jazan region and its partner organizations to confront the drug epidemic based on scientific and methodological foundations, striving to build a drug-free community that enjoys health and safety.
