وصل وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله إلى العاصمة القطرية الدوحة اليوم، وذلك للمشاركة في الاجتماع الطارئ لوزراء خارجية دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية.
وكان في استقباله وزير الدولة القطري سلطان المريخي، وسفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى دولة قطر الأمير منصور بن خالد بن فرحان، والأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم محمد البديوي.
وسيبحث الاجتماع الطارئ العدوان الإيراني على دولة قطر الشقيقة، وتداعياته الأمنية، والجهود المبذولة لضمان عودة الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, today to participate in the emergency meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
He was received by Qatari Minister of State Sultan Al-Muraikhi, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Qatar, Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, and the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi.
The emergency meeting will discuss the Iranian aggression against the sisterly State of Qatar, its security implications, and the efforts being made to ensure the return of security and stability in the region.
